Oh my gosh-what a cool house! I'll be starting P.Corps in Nicaragua as a health volunteer in January- I'd love to come visit your "crib"! I'm coming from Alaska, so I'm really looking forward to the warm weather down there...
THIS is where you're staying while serving in the Peace Corps??? lol Aren't yall supposed to stay in like thatched roofs/no running water/no electricity type places haha I'm planning on joining the Peace Corps as well and everything I've read makes it sound a lot tougher than that!
Well...if you havent heard this yet, every single Peace Corps experience is unique and no two days alike. So it is possible to live in a really nice house or you may not have a house at all. Luck of the draw! BUT..I was just taking care of that house for a few weeks...now I am back to "normal" living.
considering the peace corps and this is nicer than my home...lol but i understand it is different for everyone.

does the peace corp pay for all your living expenses since it is volunteer?

@InspiredMuse74 Of course they do. I'm currently serving in Bulgaria, btw.
There's no way they'd make people leave friends, family, life, etc. for the adventure of their lifetime AND pay for housing.
