This video is really dubiously-titled. This is a great critique by Scheuer, but he never says that al Qaeda does not exist. What he's saying "doesn't exist" is the version of Islamic extremism which supposedly wants to harm the US because they 'hate out freedom', etc. He goes on to talk about how Islamic extremism is very real, that there are militants out there who want to hurt the US, but for different reasons than are often given by US leadership.
