I love this series. Nobody seemed to get my comment. I love it precisely because it's neither to japanese nor is it too american. Other shows like this tend to resemble a rather poor imitation of anime, Avatar on the other hand manages to adopt an anime style blended with american sensibilities at just the right amount. That's why i love it. It's just so unique.

Yeah, you mean shows and movies like Full Metal alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, steam boy, spirited away, lets not forget the more mature ones with societal commentaries like Akira, Ghost in a Shell(probably the one of best things to ever be animated)e.t.c. The producers of the show even admit that they were strongly influenced by and are big fans of anime. Truth be told if Avatar wasn't on Nick I would have thought it was an Anime. The design style, blend of humor, action and drama, scream Anime

I believe your opinion is ill founded, sir or madam. Avatar is superior to Naruto by far in every way. It's superior to MOST anime in fact. Naruto is a bottom-of-the-barrel anime. Shonen Jump hasn't produced anything worthwhile since Fist of the North Star.

Ilike both shows for their look into what makes people tick and how they deal with it. Naruto is Ang if he wasn't raised by the air nomads. Both shows are good it's just in most US dubs of Naruto alot of raw fight scenes are needlessly toned down. Although Ang would no doubt win in a fight, I never seen anyone pull out their heart in Avatar so lets just say their both good in different ways.

Naruto sucks fucking dick. All they do is sit around and talk about bullshit and flashback for 80% of the episodes. The fights are good, for about 3 minutes at a time, and I do mean 3 minutes.
