I remember when I had my 2008 White MacBook with Leopard on it thinking it was the shit. I was so happy with it that I did not bother buying Snow Leopard.When I bought my new 27'' iMac last June, it had Snow Leopard on it and I really did not see much of a difference in comparison to Leopard. Now that I have Lion, I feel like I just came out of the cyber stone age.

This OS runs like liquid on my Rampage 3 extreme. The sad part about it.. none of my programs runs on it. Poor.. Someone outta just scrap crossover and all those emulators and just make Apple run the exe natively. I did it with Solaris, didn't seem that hard. Too bad apple aint open source. I'd have stuck it in myself.

@izlude2 and someone would've taken it right back out. the biggest reason OSX and Linux etc are secure Operating Systems is because they DON'T run .exes. if you're that desperate to run Windows executable files then stick with Windows. I feel inclined to inform you however that there are OSX versions (or alternatives) of almost any Windows software (and most are better).

@harrisad I have never had any issues outside of gaming on OS X. You are looking in the wrong places for software. Try using QuickTime X to convert from MPG to mov and you are good to go. If you have a newish camera you can change to this format.

unless you are one of the few people who have the specs to be able to hackintosh, and then can figure out how to do it so all the drivers work, then put it on your PC...

but i recommend sticking with win7 unless you want to purchase a mac (which is worth every penny if you can afford it)

Call of duty 4 is very slow here, i hope that depend from the video. On my very old Asus notebook 512 MB of ram and ATI Mobility radeon 64 MB it wors very good, more more fluid than here on the Mac. And the features of OSX ae very "normal" IMhO. I' m getting a Macbook Pro because it like a good laptop on the market, but i' m still not sure.

On the surface leopard and Snow leopard are pretty similar but under the surface they are very very different. Full cocoa apps, OpenCL and grand central are all great auditions. But that all comes down to how you use it I guess.
