this is that self defense tryna kill somebody kinda shit and i like this cuz it doesnt take much to do and ya opponent wouldnt expect it and they probably would not know how to get out of it
I LOVE how Yakimov always goes straight to the point without theorizing much about a technique! You tube is full of guys who explain the movements for 3/4 of the video before actually executing them.

Can anyone tell me how Russian Sambo differs from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu? I mean which one of the arts would get the better of the other? Say, a BJJ black belt vs a Sambo master?
@kanguesso Sambo is much more like trad Judo, but fewer restrictions on grips. They do a LOT more leg locks than BJJ and allow neck cranks. Combat Sambo competitions allow striking. For prime examples of Combat Sambo fighters, look at Fedor Emelianenko and Megumi Fujii. Both have had #1 ranks for about the last 10 years, and are still top 3. Fujii is ranked as the current #2 women pnd/pnd, and easily one of the best pnd/pnd for men's and women's. FF, Ron Tripp beat Rickson Gracie in 45 seconds.
@terminaltoad I do agree that Sambo & Judo share techniques, the approach to some of these techniques is different. Because leg locks are allowed pins and many throws can be altered to setup a leg lock (e.g. uchi-mata in Sambo can be setup for a kneebar leg lock called the rolling knee bar) and there are dozens more. There are more to Sambo then different grip rules. There are no wins by 25 sec pins, no 2 waza-ri and ippon, no ban on grabbing the legs or belt for more than 3 secs.. and more.
@kanguesso BJJ emphasizes on groundwork while Sambo mostly on takedowns with quick submissions. Which one is better for competition? Depends which competition you're attending. Since most if not all grappling comps share BJJ's point system (Naga, Grapplers Quest, COPA, ADCC), learning BJJ might be better. For Judo & Sambo comps ... Sambo is better. For self-defense definitely Sambo because in Sambo you learn how to stand and fight using throws BUT if it goes to the ground, Sambo is good there 2
