@paulspydar —thanks for taking a look at our video. If you’re still deciding on a utility software, TuneUp Utilities actually has a number of features that other products do not offer. These include Turbo Mode, which disables unnecessary background programs and concentrates all the PC processing power the user’s active programs and Live Optimization, which accelerates the startup and response times of programs.
@paulspydar You can check out all of our software’s features here: tune-up.com or visit our blog, where we share tips and tricks for optimizing and troubleshooting Windows (blog.tune-up.com). If you have any questions that we can help answer, just let us know!
I love how it adds all those "services"... IRONIC!!! FOR AN OPTIMIZATION PROGRAM? How much do they pay you for the "favourable" review? seeing as your name is "TuneUp4Windows"...? LMAO
@casecar Hi Casecar. We are the developer of TuneUp Utilities and this is our YT-Channel. So, if you like to talk about the software or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly via YT-Maill. We are always open to chat.
@TuneUp4Windows I've read too many complaints regarding Tuneup Utilities 2010 adding "services" and deleting stuff it shouldn't, such as music files etc. I've also read that 2010 has become bloated and many users are reverting back to the 2009 version. I bought both 2009 and 2010 versions and in all honesty, neither remove as much "crap" as "Ccleaner". Sure, Tuneup Utilities offers more features, but, I'm sure registry cleaning or memory cleaning are no more than "snake-oil"...
Thanks for alerting us to your issues. TuneUp Utilities 2010 shouldn’t be deleting programs without your approval, but don’t worry. Any changes can be undone with a simple mouse click and the software saves a backup before optimizing. You also might be interested to know that in the newest version of TuneUp Utilities (to be released later this month), there is a Program Deactivator feature that lets you simply deactivate software rather than uninstalling it.
@casecar In the meantime, we’d love to chat with you about the problems you’re having with TuneUp Utilities 2010. What’s the best way to reach you directly?
