why do you hate graffiti so much?

thanks marskid189 for your comment on my youtube video about graffiti.

Graffiti makes areas look run down and for many in the community increases their fear of crime. It also wastes huge amount of money cleaning it up which otherwise could be spent on more useful stuff such as skateboard parks or running clubs for younger people.

I did not say that it increases crime - though it is in itself a crime because it is criminal damage - what I did say is that it increases their fear of crime
