This is a beautiful horse. I love show jumping, but I just hate how you have to be extremely wealthy to be sucessful. The riders do have skill, but you have to be able to afford the top shows and expensive horses as well. I guess that will never change though.
You don't HAVE to be super wealthy. If you're a talented rider and show horses off well, trainers will want you to ride their horses. Look at Eric Lamaze.... I know it's rare but it can happen to anyone
But if you ride old lesson horses I don't think a rider would be able to show off their full potential. Even if you can ride a decent horse, you still have to pay for all of the shows and that gets pretty pricey.
You wouldn't really ride lesson horses since they would be used in lessons. I've helped a couple barns before and they test you and see if you can ride the really difficult ones. Just saying.. Eric started out very poor. It can happen
