I finally picked this game up yesterday! I've had the NES version since 1997 but decided I wanted the SNES version as well.

@DJCandyManMike Well I'm slowly getting there, they said I'd suffer for at least two more weeks but it'll be longer than that, thankfully my lungs are clear so that's a start.

You like the NES version more purely for nostalgic reasons, I can relate to that. =)

Actually, no, it's more for the music. Sure, the SNES's instruments are far superior to the NES, but the NES version has more music. It has music that plays immediately after you clear a level, it has boss themes, and plus it has that alarm in level when you're going down the final tunnel with the components raining down on you. It just seems to me like more of an effort was made with the NES version, with what they were working with, than with the NES version.

I've owned the NES version since 1997. I need to pick up the SNES version sometime. The music kicks ass all the way to Jupiter and back!

I am a fanboy of the genesis my personal fav is the genesis ver. And I will admit they both are superior in their own way like this version sounds extremely like a rock song and that's what I get and the genesis version is fast as all hell and it pumps me up. So quit fighting people

@TheKosuko213 If you are refering to previous comments regarding fanboys that was a mere misunderstanding where I proclaimed the dislike was a fanboy and the person thought I was refering to him where I clearly wasn't, just one of those.

And if I may say so I love both version of this, one day I prefer this, then the next I prefer the Genesis version and then next week I prefer this again. XD

really like this song. I have not played either Double Dragon, Battle Toads, or the compelation game but I do like the song. I have a friend who loves the games and told me about them. Thansk for uploading this song.

@Alexdarkelf1523 I played Double Dragon years ago but I never really played Battletoads until I discovered emulation. This song is fantastic, I absolutely love it. And no problem with the upload, I'm just sharing my passion for video game music that's all. =)

It's been a year since I've played this game, WOW, time just flew by. So I was watching AVGN's Jaguar video and heard some Battletoads music and I was like "let's relive some of the classic tunes" then I typed "Battletoads music" and suddenly this one popped up. I clicked on the video and I was like "Ah, memories". This still remains as some of my favourite soundtracks in video games!

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!. I want to play this game on an emulator. and i have other games on the emulator like donkey kong and super mario world that work when i want to play this game it doesnt work. i load it up and it starts out normal tradewest and then a rare prodution or whatever and then it just stays black.i tried different roms from different sites and they all do the same only this game

@willgardner1989 Well one reason I made this channel was exactly for the memories =) I haven't played this game much myself to be honest, mainly to see if the ROM was working but I love the title music in both versions. Awesome tune.

I always die at the space invaders-ish level for some reason

I can do level 1, 2 & 3 without dying and then get toasted into battletoadsteak in space
