First off, I'm going to guess... actually I'm going to point out that this Mustang was clearly a V6. Secondly, I used to own a '00 ZX2 with a K&N Filter and a B&M short shifter. Your RPM's weren't nearly up to where they should be. You should be hitting at least 6500rpm or even reach your 7000rpm rev limiter before you shift gears with your ZX2. You'll see much better results.

I like zx2's =) I had one and my friend had one. We modified the crap out of his though! I remember they were quick but had no top speed lol Ooooh, those were the days =) I'm thinking about getting another to beat around town while I park my Mustang all winter. Hopefully I can find one and fast!

If you have one pencil then you don't hold it up and say "I have a set of pencils." You would look like a fool. So why would you say "set of headers" when you only have one? Ok. so lets face it. Zx2 has a bad clutch *not that hard to tell* the stang ran out of road so it had to slow down if your clutch isnt slipping then learn to drive a 5 spd.
i dont think i gotta bad clutch... when its icey out i stop go in 2nd so i dont slip around, but if i race, which i havent in a lonnnng time, i let my rpms run up just like automatics, but neverr into red..i really dont know tho. haha
it sounds like you have a bad clutch? idk how you have a bad clutch. maybe too many burnouts, too much street racing, too many 2nd gear starts, or just shitty driving...
@GucciLaFlat you can tell a bad clutch when you release the clutch after engaging a gear, the car will sag in power and then snap back up. this looks more like a long stock shifter is in there and clutch. your slow on gear change which is WHY it looks like a bad clutch but it isnt. nothing against you, its just you need more practice on speed shifting with a clutch. try power shifting maybe?
