The surplus should have been used for infrastructure & investments in education, health reform and renewable energy sources. Investments that could have prevented the severity of the current economic downturn. Taxbreaks alone for the top 2% during the Bush administration have CLEARLY FAILED. The surplus should have been used for infrastructure & investments in education, health reform and renewable energy sources. Investments that could have prevented the severity of the current economic downturn. Taxbreaks alone for the top 2% during the Bush administration have CLEARLY FAILED. The surplus at the time Bush took office was used to shift the funds in the form of taxcuts to that particular group. 95% of taxpayers will get a taxcut under BOH's plan. The surplus was wastefully given to the top 2%. "Trickledown" economics failed in the past and it failed again, which contributed to the current economic downturn.

The stimulis bill is tax break investment for ourselves and the spending part of the package is an investment in our countries infrastructure. For anybody too young to remember welfare reform, the old way of doing welfare was that the federal government gave states financial incentives to get as many people on the welfare rolls as possible. It led to generational poverty. In 1996, Clinton signed a bill that transformed welfare so it became a temporary safety net rather than a way of life.
The Stim Bill undoes that. Change indeed.

We all know con artists like this pretending to be homeless begging on the subway or whatever and then go home with thier hundreds of dollars in cash. No taxes paid. This fraud put the home in her son's name. They must bg for money. Perhaps the son is a dealer. more cash under the table.
