@moacirusa Please enlighten me to what you saw that I did not. Your answer was simple to the point of being stupid. What exactly about either of these dogs looked fearfull. Do you simply watch videos and post something stupid to rile people up? We have a word for that its called Trolling!
@bubbalove69 .You obviously wouldn't know considering that all they both showed in the video is fearful agression. Showing teeth can also be a sign of lack of confidence. Those dogs need a real trainer if that lady wants to get anything out of them. It's idiots like you who are taken for rides everyday by fake trainers like those two. Sending them your dog to train is an open invitation to criminals to come over and slap you.
Its fair to say that both dogs looked scared, hardly a good guard dog, i am pretty sure that if they had not been on a lead they would have backed off or ran. That's not to say that all dogs of that breed are equally scared, but those two certainly were., i personally, would buy either of them.
@BINGLEBOG1 Please read the comment at the very top and educate yourself. These dogs are being offensively aggressive, not fearfully aggression. Learn to read body language.
Hi there Tahlia, I am almost 60 years old, I have many years of experience with dogs, mostly German Shepherds and Dobermans. the best dog i ever had was a German Shepherdshe was literally a killer, she went for the throat every time, be it a dog or a man, the throat EVERY time.
The only other dog ive seen to match her was a rottwieler, the 2 dogs above are not good guard dogs, if you think they are, then respectfully, you have never seen a guard dog.
These dogs are not backing off, they are offensively aggressive, their body language indicates so. Caucasian shepherds much stronger, more intelligent, independent and much much more protective than a german shepherd.
Comparing a german shepherd to a CO is kind of stupid. Its like bringing a knife to a gun fight. CO's are much better and more serious guard dogs.
They are very serious guard dogs and only for very serious protection.
@BINGLEBOG1 i thought the same thing about my last male GSD untill i got a mountain type Central Asian Ovcharka male there's no comparison the Ovcharka is so much stronger and is vey dominant around anyone they don't know and will patrol the house at night instead of cuddling up on the sofa and at 8 months old was stronger than any adult GSD or rottie !
Instincts do run very deeply in this breed... for now. The more popular they become the more diluted these instincts will become.
It must be admitted these dogs do not bite with the confidence of a sport trained dog. This is because CO's view the decoy as a genuine threat. To be threatened is sometimes associated with fear or insecurity. I think there is a disconnect in the sport/police dog world when it comes to natural flock guardian characteristics. CO's are not intended for sport.
I just want to say before u train a dog to be a guard dog think hard, they are a big liability and can be hard to handle and a pain in the ass when you want to bring friends over, or when you travel, I had quite a few and now that I don't need a agresive guard dog anymore I have to basicly retrain my dog to be friendly, so far I've been succesfull but its been hard and scary at times... Much easier to just have a shotgun and a few handguns for protection. Just a point of view.
Now i come from a long line of hunters/farmers and we trained all of our horses and dogs without the use of the internet or other these so called "professionals" and we never had a problem with any of them..... now if you look on the internet, suddenly everyones a training expert and "you're doing it wrong" really now some of us dont need to pay some snob at a school to know how to handle and teach these little beasts
I don't care how long you've been training. Everything about this screams amatures. Why is the helper standing right next to the one being attacked? The male was just acting aggressively, and the female needed coaxing to attack the sleeve. Regardless of the dog's reason for the bite, there was a lot of potential for both "trainers" to get hurt!
@rmp1809 It has a double coat... they mitigate heat better than short haired dogs. You should do some research before asking such silly questions :P Double coat dogs have an "undercoat" and that allows them to adapt much easier to harsh extremes in climate... both hot/arid and cold climates. Short haired dogs get sun stroke, sun burn and freeze.
@MPSKWPG bullshit a double coat dog wouldnt last an hour in the heat i live in thats like saying a person can survive better with a coat on in the heat
@cobraopts7 You obviously know nothing about dogs, stick to the amateur musician thing though and see where it takes you. Insulation is capable of both retaining heat & this will blow your mind... retaining the absense of heat! Shocking I know, that just like a insulated house that has a way to mitigate heat inside it (panting/pads for dogs) it stays cooler than the exterior.
@MPSKWPG A house with air conditioning & insulation will overheat due to the insulation compared to a house with no insulation + air conditioning in the same +40 degree celcius climate. Epic fail... Take a pug and put it in -40 degree celcius weather and it will freeze to death, put in +40 celcius and it will overheat and die if the sun stroke does not get to it first. You have no clue.
@MPSKWPG yup..your an asshole alright.....when someone asks a question if you don't know the answer STFU...if you do try not to be a penis and explain instead of talking down to them.
@smyers820gm You are 40 years old and do not know the difference between communism and facism? Well I can not dislike you for having less access to quality education, yet by taking a look at your profile I can tell you post on many things you know nothign about. I am the asshole though, yup... Thanks for your enlightening and intellectual opinion that has zero relevance to this post. You are trash.
@MPSKWPG yup...your right... your an asshole...its just too bad I am not in your face because I'd kick it the fuck in AND call you an asshole w/ a pushed in face ! Have a nice evening dickhead !
ok then, I'll keep this simple because you obviosly know nothing about protection.... in the protection sport world, a dog that exhibits good defense drive comes forward to meet their assailant. The only thing keeping these dogs from running away is the fact that they are on the lead.
You can see in most of the shots that the dogs are backing away and pulling on the lead backwards. This means they don't have any drive to protect themselves or their owner. They are just half heartedly threatening
A dog with a great defensive drive, is NOT a dog that will chase an assailant down in such a way that the dog will LEAVE its "pack" or "territory" in a vulnerable unprotected state. When the assailant approaches and gets too close, this is where the dog will bite and fend off the assailant, it will NOT chase down the person and LEAVE its handler unprotected.
Can you point out where in my post I said that the dog should chase an assailant down? No you can't, because thats not what I said. I said they should come foreward thats all, they are on a leash for christs sake! How could they possibly chase anything down you moron. You don't know anything about protection because this exercise is not to promote the dog protecting the handler as you said, it is promoting the dog to protect itself (even though they are failing).
It comes down to fight or flight, and these dogs are clearly trying to flee. Dogs with good defense drive do no pull back on the lead and try to walk backwards... period.
" It comes down to fight or flight, and these dogs are clearly trying to flee."
PMSL. Here lies the fallacy in your non-credible ignorance once AGAIN, After all, you seem to think that this dog(s) has NO defensive drive. PRETTY hilarious to JUDGE something through a bunch of pictures, if you ASK ME. RIGHT? HAHAHAHA. Yeah, What a JOKE.
If a dog was trying to flee and if it didn't have any defense drive, it would NOT be snarling, showing its teeth and its tail would NOT be erect.
I'm not assuming man,its true, I have much experience with dogs and I have completed a certificate in dog behaviour and training. I'm also a professional dog walker. And I didn't say they were testing the wrong way, I said that the dogs had poor defensive drive. All the keyboard jockies on you tube seem to think caucasian Ovcharka is the be all and end all of dog breeds but that is not true.Protection sports are not an avenue for creative thought until you've reached the pinnacle of learning.
"I have completed a certificate in dog behaviour and training."
LOL, yet you did NOT recognize the dogs body language at first sight? Nice!
Anyway, certain parts of the body of a dog, are VERY important indicators as to how they are operating or how they feel, and should NEVER be forgotten when making a claim like you did, especially in some PICTURES. LOL.
"And I didn't say they were testing the wrong way"
"This insinuates that you think I think they are testing the wrong way. Ok? Good. "
WRONG. Those questions were posted because you seem to think you ARE a dog expert, yet you could NOT even determine the body language of which is most important.
Your black and white attitude to dog body language highlights your lack of knowledge. You seem to continuosly forget that I said they have poor defensive drive, just because the dog displays defensive posturing and puts its tail up does not mean it has good defensive drive. Only when it actively defends itself can it be veiwed as good defensive drive. I would recomend some good books so you can grasp what i'm saying but you're not worth it.
LMFAO. You definitely do NOT like to be confused by facts or contradicted in any way, regardless of the merits of what has been said.
Your first CLAIM was that these dogs have ZERO defensive drive. If these dogs had ZERO defensive drive, their tail would be tucked in, they would NOT be snarling and gritting their teeth and they would not HOLD the sleeve and tear it off when he comes close.
"just because the dog displays defensive posturing and puts its tail up does not mean it has good defensive drive."
The statement of having an erect tail, is based towards the fact that if this dog had "zero" defensive drive as you claimed, it would be in AVOIDANCE mode, in which the tail would be tucked and the stress of the situation is too MUCH for the dog to handle, let alone HOLD the sleeve and tear it off, AS seen in the PICTURES.
HAHAHA Someone has slipped into insecurity mode! That's right! Dribbling on about different logic, will NOT hide the fact that you first stated that these dogs had NO defensive drive. LOL.
"I analysed the body language the moment I say the video. Thats how I know they have poor defense drive"
REALLY? the moment you "SAY" the video? Fabulous stuff!
Anyway! Your claim was this: "It comes down to fight or flight, and these dogs are clearly trying to flee".
How can you SAY that these dogs ARE trying to FLEE? These are pictures! The dog would of been lunging and running around in circles to deter the agitator.
You did NOT even read the dogs body language before making your silly claim LMFAO, here's another claim of yours, "It comes down to fight or flight, and these dogs are clearly trying to flee".
If the dog was trying to flee, it would be in avoidance mode, the dog would be under too much stress and would NOT even bother trying to HOLD the sleeve. Furthermore, the dogs tail would be TUCKED between its legs and the fur raising and snarling would NOT be present in the "PICTURES". PMSL LOL.
If we veiwed actual video footage we would see that it is even less favourable to the dog. Because it is obvious that the photographer is trying to take GOOD pictures of the dogs, and these are the ones they chose to display. This means that we can accurately say that what we did not see is of poorer quality than the pictures on this video.
"Because it is obvious that the photographer is trying to take GOOD pictures of the dogs"
PMSL, What you see in some of these pictures, is an aggressive defensive drive in effect, Snarling, Fur raised, Lunging from various positions, etc. LOL.
Ignorance at its finest! All merit to skinnydogkew!
A dog will often bark, snarl or bare it's teeth when it is anxious or nervous or fearful. This is in stark contrast to established or potential prey drive. It is an uneducated human reaction to read a dog displaying this behaviour and assume that it is confidence or has a keen defense drive.
NO, the question is this, WHAT HAVE i achieved in the dog world? OK! Here's your answer! I'm a licensed security dog handler. I am very sure that i have MANY more merits and knowledge for this kind of stuff.
Thats it, I can't listen to any more of your crap. I look foreward to taking money off people like you who think they know about their dog but in the end need to come to me to have it fixed. Have I shitty life, I know you will.
HAHAHA, But in your case, it DOES! You are a tumor that needs to be cut away, a churlish sack of puke that is truly worth less than a gob-full of camel spit.
Here's your primary claims: "these dogs have no defense drive" .... and .... "these dogs are clearly trying to flee".
This is pure evidence that you didn't read the dogs body language in the first place, it is also a clear indicator that you do NOT know the credible differences between defensive drive and avoidance.
HEY! You know what? Lets talk about the Caucasian Ovtcharka. What are your opinions and thoughts about this wonderful breed and what do you know about them?
Well,i know that hteir big and almost unstoppable!I have also noticed that they are fast for their size as fast. You'd think a 90kg dog would be slow.I'm going to get one of these when i get my own house lol
@2Xplosiv69 explosive aggression, very protective of family members and seems to know who family is without introduction, needs a lot of training around people and is very smart and ultimately only takes orders from one master, very independent dog and is def smarter than average dog this is the reason many security services around Caucasus, Russia and eastern parts use these type of dogs, I used to have a female 120LBs amazing dog, hope to have a Male some day.
@2Xplosiv69 Wow you got BOTH the highest rated comments lol. First time I've seen anyone completely dominate the comment section on youtube like this before.
thees dogs should stick to guarding livestock and property. I have 1 presa and he is far more aggressive obedient and has far more drive. i wouldnt trust the OC to defend my kids.
@quiskingcol Silly comment. You said the OC should stick to guarding livestock and property but not your kids? What's the difference? It's ALL the dog's property in his mind. Aggression does not mean the dog is a good protector. Dogs also need intelligence and the ability to differentiate between friend and foe. You sound you have a manic dog that goes after anything. Most dogs will die for their masters so an OC or presa, both will do fine.
@2Xplosiv69 there is a difference between defensive drive and prey drive... the latter is what is used when properly training any breed for protection work... use of the defensive drive causes weak or scared dogs which are dangerous and unpredictable. :)
"All the keyboard jockies on you tube seem to think caucasian Ovcharka is the be all and end all of dog breeds but that is not true."
"but that is not true"
Please explain as to WHY that is not true? I mean, WHO could ever deny the bellicosity, territorial instinct, loyalty and strength of a GOOD Caucasian Ovtcharka? They are 160lbs of muscle and large bone, agile for their size too.
Seems that you THINK you're an expert on dog handling and training, what professional WORK do YOU do with dogs? What business? How would YOU test a dog for its defensive drive? and what tips would you give the agitator to EFFECTIVELY test the drive in ones dog?
This comment only shows further your lack of understanding - this is one of the most common remarks from uneducated dog owners and the general public. A dog will often bark, snarl or bare it's teeth when it is anxious or nervous or fearful. This is in stark contrast to established or potential prey drive. It is an uneducated human reaction to read a dog displaying this behaviour and assume that it is confidence or has a keen defense drive.
Based on these PICTURES, the male dog looked fine, the female was however, a little questionable.
"So HAHAHA yourself you snot nosed cunt. "
That coming from YOU, is sorta like throwing darts at a battleship, you know? Piss myself laughing! You are a walking leprosy scab, a mouthful of urine.
There are shots where the male is behind the handler you idiot.
I would ask you for your protection credentials or even just dog credentials but I already know the answer... you have none. Darts at a battleship? Love yourself much? Just because you boast doesnt mean anything... your argument has no substance or credibility. I just dispelled your pedestrian views and you are still tryhing to insult me with repulsive fantastical comments....... but i'd piss in your mouth anytime.
"There are shots where the male is behind the handler you idiot."
These are PICTURES, the angles of a PICTURE, are NOT enough to make an accurate or credible claim as you did. How about you watch some actual footage, and then make a claim that MIGHT actually be credible? Seems logical to me! HAHAHAHA
"your argument has no substance or credibility"
That's FUNNY! Because you are the one with the ignorant CLAIM that these dogs have no defensive drive! HAHAHAHA -- What a JOKE you are!
She can be in flip flops because it isn't like the dogs are pulling on the leash or anything. They are so afraid they are either behind her or far to the side and the "decoy" has to jam the bitesurface at them to get a nip. Beautiful dogs, but sure not impressive guard dogs. My patterdale terrier has more forward aggression than either of those curs!
hehe i would kill my dog if he have act like that... shit...better for him to die if he dont doing nothing just eat...DOG NEEED TO BE GUARD OF HOUSEYARD...if not fuck him.... lolz this dog suck...
1. if it was fearful and protecting itself even in an aggressive state the tail would be between the legs which its not the head not low either, its ready to pounce
2.if it was pulling away would the lead not be taught. people should really look closer and at least know what they're looking at before judging other people's training
If you look below the dog you'll see that it was back tied and the handler was out of position. Besides it didn't say they were doing a defense of handler, only testing the defense drive in the dog.
this dog and the handlers body postures and positioning suggest that they trained this dog through FEAR to bite.. NOT impressed. Theres a pic of the dog on a loose lead simply barking at the man with the hanlder standing to the side.. sorry but the handler is a very very very very poor hander to be positioning herself back to the side and letting the dog wander that far. Plus, if the dog wasnt scared into protecting it should have had that man by then!
I want to get a presa canario, but they got nothing on the Caucasian Ovcharka. Houston TX would be to hot for a Caucasian Ovcharka. Were did you get your presa?
you dont know anything about this dogs and shut up!
these dogs are only dog which is throating a few wolves togather! and they eat pit-ulls alive ! so shut up and domt lie to pple! this one is agressive for human just cuz the man is making him angry you dumb ass and it will be wonder if he lick pussy like your asian! the sheeps are stolen mostly by thiv\eve than wolves when it is about tousands sheeps in flock so the dogs atack both ! homan and wolves!
I own a Caucasian dog. They are very, intelligent and aggressive. They are !Extremely! protective of there owners. They do not even hesitate to attack,a close friend of the owner, who the dog knows all his life,if this friend shows aggressive behavior towards the owner.
too right just another breed to fight or "use for protection" i mean have you seen the video with th woman that breeds them.... she advertises them as having the stopping power of a .45 caliber pistol..i mean everyone knows what people do with guns this is just a legal way of using one
Ragedy looking dogs. They don't look like they're enjoying the bite work exercise. Way too hairy to be an inside dog unless you don't mind having dog hair all over the house. Hi, I'm Brandon.

Those are small CO's.
NordVind448 1 year ago
Instincts do run very deeply in this breed... for now. The more popular they become the more diluted these instincts will become.
It must be admitted these dogs do not bite with the confidence of a sport trained dog. This is because CO's view the decoy as a genuine threat. To be threatened is sometimes associated with fear or insecurity. I think there is a disconnect in the sport/police dog world when it comes to natural flock guardian characteristics. CO's are not intended for sport.
mebooradley 1 year ago
I just want to say before u train a dog to be a guard dog think hard, they are a big liability and can be hard to handle and a pain in the ass when you want to bring friends over, or when you travel, I had quite a few and now that I don't need a agresive guard dog anymore I have to basicly retrain my dog to be friendly, so far I've been succesfull but its been hard and scary at times... Much easier to just have a shotgun and a few handguns for protection. Just a point of view.

really, the caucasian nagazi dont need no training, they can protect you from wolves and bears just with their instinct...

Taud 1 year ago
I don't care how long you've been training. Everything about this screams amatures. Why is the helper standing right next to the one being attacked? The male was just acting aggressively, and the female needed coaxing to attack the sleeve. Regardless of the dog's reason for the bite, there was a lot of potential for both "trainers" to get hurt!

why would you choose a dog with a coat like that for the hot weather?
rmp1809 1 year ago
@rmp1809 It has a double coat... they mitigate heat better than short haired dogs. You should do some research before asking such silly questions :P Double coat dogs have an "undercoat" and that allows them to adapt much easier to harsh extremes in climate... both hot/arid and cold climates. Short haired dogs get sun stroke, sun burn and freeze.
MPSKWPG 1 year ago 3
@MPSKWPG bullshit a double coat dog wouldnt last an hour in the heat i live in thats like saying a person can survive better with a coat on in the heat
cobraopts7 1 year ago
@cobraopts7 You obviously know nothing about dogs, stick to the amateur musician thing though and see where it takes you. Insulation is capable of both retaining heat & this will blow your mind... retaining the absense of heat! Shocking I know, that just like a insulated house that has a way to mitigate heat inside it (panting/pads for dogs) it stays cooler than the exterior.
MPSKWPG 1 year ago
@MPSKWPG A house with air conditioning & insulation will overheat due to the insulation compared to a house with no insulation + air conditioning in the same +40 degree celcius climate. Epic fail... Take a pug and put it in -40 degree celcius weather and it will freeze to death, put in +40 celcius and it will overheat and die if the sun stroke does not get to it first. You have no clue.

skinnydogkew 2 years ago
@skinnydogkew
THE walking vomit, LOL.
YOU are the ignoramus that is judging these dogs through some pictures, so please explain YOUR claim to the rest of us.
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
ok then, I'll keep this simple because you obviosly know nothing about protection.... in the protection sport world, a dog that exhibits good defense drive comes forward to meet their assailant. The only thing keeping these dogs from running away is the fact that they are on the lead.
You can see in most of the shots that the dogs are backing away and pulling on the lead backwards. This means they don't have any drive to protect themselves or their owner. They are just half heartedly threatening
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
HAHA! WRONG!
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
Can you point out where in my post I said that the dog should chase an assailant down? No you can't, because thats not what I said. I said they should come foreward thats all, they are on a leash for christs sake! How could they possibly chase anything down you moron. You don't know anything about protection because this exercise is not to promote the dog protecting the handler as you said, it is promoting the dog to protect itself (even though they are failing).
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
It comes down to fight or flight, and these dogs are clearly trying to flee. Dogs with good defense drive do no pull back on the lead and try to walk backwards... period.
So HAHAHA yourself you snot nosed cunt.
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
" It comes down to fight or flight, and these dogs are clearly trying to flee."
PMSL. Here lies the fallacy in your non-credible ignorance once AGAIN, After all, you seem to think that this dog(s) has NO defensive drive. PRETTY hilarious to JUDGE something through a bunch of pictures, if you ASK ME. RIGHT? HAHAHAHA. Yeah, What a JOKE.
If a dog was trying to flee and if it didn't have any defense drive, it would NOT be snarling, showing its teeth and its tail would NOT be erect.
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
Ok you are right there, I was exaggerating when I said "no defensive drive" I should have said "poor defensive drive"
You cannot claim these dogs have good defensive drive. They are definitly poor.
The dogs are trying to flee... if they were not on the lead they would be 20 feet further back.
"non-credible ignorance" ? Can't say i've ever encountered credible ignorance. Chump.
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
"The dogs are trying to flee... if they were not on the lead they would be 20 feet further back."
How can you ASSUME such a silly thing? These are pictures! Not video footage!
Creative thoughts definitely take alternate transportation in order to avoid even being in the same state as you.
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
I'm not assuming man,its true, I have much experience with dogs and I have completed a certificate in dog behaviour and training. I'm also a professional dog walker. And I didn't say they were testing the wrong way, I said that the dogs had poor defensive drive. All the keyboard jockies on you tube seem to think caucasian Ovcharka is the be all and end all of dog breeds but that is not true.Protection sports are not an avenue for creative thought until you've reached the pinnacle of learning.
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
"I have completed a certificate in dog behaviour and training."
LOL, yet you did NOT recognize the dogs body language at first sight? Nice!
Anyway, certain parts of the body of a dog, are VERY important indicators as to how they are operating or how they feel, and should NEVER be forgotten when making a claim like you did, especially in some PICTURES. LOL.
"And I didn't say they were testing the wrong way"
LOL, I never stated that you did. OK? Good!
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
"And I didn't say they were testing the wrong way"
LOL, I never stated that you did. OK? Good!

This insinuates that you think I think they are testing the wrong way. Ok? Good.
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
"This insinuates that you think I think they are testing the wrong way. Ok? Good. "
WRONG. Those questions were posted because you seem to think you ARE a dog expert, yet you could NOT even determine the body language of which is most important.
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago 2
Your black and white attitude to dog body language highlights your lack of knowledge. You seem to continuosly forget that I said they have poor defensive drive, just because the dog displays defensive posturing and puts its tail up does not mean it has good defensive drive. Only when it actively defends itself can it be veiwed as good defensive drive. I would recomend some good books so you can grasp what i'm saying but you're not worth it.
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
"I said they have poor defensive drive"
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago 2

"just because the dog displays defensive posturing and puts its tail up does not mean it has good defensive drive."
The statement of having an erect tail, is based towards the fact that if this dog had "zero" defensive drive as you claimed, it would be in AVOIDANCE mode, in which the tail would be tucked and the stress of the situation is too MUCH for the dog to handle, let alone HOLD the sleeve and tear it off, AS seen in the PICTURES.
Hilarious stuff really! What a field day for me!
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago 2
For you? More like for me!
Once again I remind you that I corrected myself and said "poor defense" as apposed to "no defence"
And I find It laughable that you don't understand that there is middle ground between actively good defence and avoidance.
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
HAHAHA Someone has slipped into insecurity mode! That's right! Dribbling on about different logic, will NOT hide the fact that you first stated that these dogs had NO defensive drive. LOL.
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago 2
I admitted that like 14 posts ago you moron,
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
Admitted what? Your claims were created without even FIRST analyzing the dogs body language.
You were confident in your claims until i explained and pointed out what defensive drive and avoidance was.
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
Admitted that I should have said "poor defence" instead of "no defense".
You don't comprehend to well do you...look back over the posts you'll see it way way down.
I am still confident, the dogs have poor defense drive, period.
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
I analysed the body language the moment I say the video. Thats how I know they have poor defense drive, how else would I know that cock gobbler?
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
"I analysed the body language the moment I say the video. Thats how I know they have poor defense drive"
REALLY? the moment you "SAY" the video? Fabulous stuff!
Anyway! Your claim was this: "It comes down to fight or flight, and these dogs are clearly trying to flee".
How can you SAY that these dogs ARE trying to FLEE? These are pictures! The dog would of been lunging and running around in circles to deter the agitator.
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
You did NOT even read the dogs body language before making your silly claim LMFAO, here's another claim of yours, "It comes down to fight or flight, and these dogs are clearly trying to flee".
If the dog was trying to flee, it would be in avoidance mode, the dog would be under too much stress and would NOT even bother trying to HOLD the sleeve. Furthermore, the dogs tail would be TUCKED between its legs and the fur raising and snarling would NOT be present in the "PICTURES". PMSL LOL.
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago 2
It's hilarious that one would even make a claim and judgement, over some PICTURES.
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago 2

If we veiwed actual video footage we would see that it is even less favourable to the dog. Because it is obvious that the photographer is trying to take GOOD pictures of the dogs, and these are the ones they chose to display. This means that we can accurately say that what we did not see is of poorer quality than the pictures on this video.
skinnydogkew 1 year ago
"Because it is obvious that the photographer is trying to take GOOD pictures of the dogs"
PMSL, What you see in some of these pictures, is an aggressive defensive drive in effect, Snarling, Fur raised, Lunging from various positions, etc. LOL.
Ignorance at its finest! All merit to skinnydogkew!
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
A dog will often bark, snarl or bare it's teeth when it is anxious or nervous or fearful. This is in stark contrast to established or potential prey drive. It is an uneducated human reaction to read a dog displaying this behaviour and assume that it is confidence or has a keen defense drive.

@2Xplosiv69 explosive aggression, very protective of family members and seems to know who family is without introduction, needs a lot of training around people and is very smart and ultimately only takes orders from one master, very independent dog and is def smarter than average dog this is the reason many security services around Caucasus, Russia and eastern parts use these type of dogs, I used to have a female 120LBs amazing dog, hope to have a Male some day.

quiskingcol 10 months ago
@quiskingcol Silly comment. You said the OC should stick to guarding livestock and property but not your kids? What's the difference? It's ALL the dog's property in his mind. Aggression does not mean the dog is a good protector. Dogs also need intelligence and the ability to differentiate between friend and foe. You sound you have a manic dog that goes after anything. Most dogs will die for their masters so an OC or presa, both will do fine.

Tonk159 10 months ago

2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
Seems that you THINK you're an expert on dog handling and training, what professional WORK do YOU do with dogs? What business? How would YOU test a dog for its defensive drive? and what tips would you give the agitator to EFFECTIVELY test the drive in ones dog?
2Xplosiv69 1 year ago
This comment only shows further your lack of understanding - this is one of the most common remarks from uneducated dog owners and the general public. A dog will often bark, snarl or bare it's teeth when it is anxious or nervous or fearful. This is in stark contrast to established or potential prey drive. It is an uneducated human reaction to read a dog displaying this behaviour and assume that it is confidence or has a keen defense drive.

"There are shots where the male is behind the handler you idiot."
These are PICTURES, the angles of a PICTURE, are NOT enough to make an accurate or credible claim as you did. How about you watch some actual footage, and then make a claim that MIGHT actually be credible? Seems logical to me! HAHAHAHA

She can be in flip flops because it isn't like the dogs are pulling on the leash or anything. this dog and the handlers body postures and positioning suggest that they trained this dog through FEAR to bite.. NOT impressed. Theres a pic of the dog on a loose lead simply barking at the man with the hanlder standing to the side.. sorry but the handler is a very very very very poor hander to be positioning herself back to the side and letting the dog wander that far.
