@SailsTheFox96 If your talking about your own creature that you play in the Space Phase, it's mainly not true because the empire you played with sounds like what voice they have in the Civalization Stage. This only applies to the NPC Shaman that you encounter, still, I wish that the empire you control can have the NPC voices.

@metalslugunleashed27 I think they use their homeworld voice (the Civil voice and the races you made in the Space Phase), but I heard that they use the NPC voice depending on your archetype with the race you're controlling (for example, if your race is a Zealot, they will use the demonic, growling voice of a Zealot NPC).

I think the Knight voice should be like the Warrior voice, only softer, less grunting and more clearer; indicating that they are friendly.

@metalslugunleashed27 That's just my impression, since the description for them says that they fight until there is peace in the galaxy. Unlike Warriors, they aren't bossy and take everything they want, they know their purpose and what they must do. Sure, they use violence but they only do this for the right reasons, like protecting other empires and destroying evil tyrants. Well, that's just my opinion on what they should be if Maxis actually gave them recognition.

No, its not a glitch. Shaman empires that are at war with you will talk normally and then dips into a low voice. Declare war on a shaman empire and try communicating with them. Keep trying until you hear it.
