Strip #269 is way too true. When's the last time that we saw a flow of awesome platforming games on the market, for example? Franchises like Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot and Sly Cooper dominate the genre even after the advent of current-gen consoles. (Though to be fair, Spyro and Crash have suffered quite a downturn in recent years.) It's why I'm psyched that they announced the fourth Sly Cooper game at E3 this year as well as Okamiden. Finally, some quality platformers.

the reason I'm not too impressed with kinect and move and wii is that they aren't ORIGINAL. Nintendo already had similar technology to the wii waaay back, move is just copying wii, and kinect is copying the playstation's EyeToy. I gave wii and move a chance though, and both aren't too bad. Wii actually has some good games.

They're expanding their marked by dumbing down existing games. Now I'm no player of WoW, but someone I know plays it on a regular basis, and from what he told me, the game is getting more straightforward and less complex with each expansion. Although if you ask me, it was a mistake to come up with that game in the first place. Warcraft was much better as an RTS, but they moved on to MMO to expand their audience.

I have to disagree. I respect for your opinion, but Wii motion, PS3 move and Kincet are the new era of gaming now, the system that is, but there are no games to support it just yet. Besides what if people don't want to go bowling but instead do it on their Wii with family and freinds you know. What if they want to rock out on Rock Band or Guitar Hero instead of buying the real instruments to play and lessons to learn. The customers these days need to think on the money side

So they just go buy the console and the game with 4 controllers and have fun for FREE. @yahooeny are you kidding, i have a $200 johnson acoustic and it plays just as good as any other guitar a standard musician would use. where i used to live the majority of the guitarist use guitars in the 200 - 400 price range and play sessions regularly. so you can't say a guitar is good just cause it's more expensive, in fact i've proven to others the exact opposite is true.

It's the 21st centruy and it's time to move forward Kincet, PS3 Move and Wii motion is here to stay until another game system will be born. Even though it's nothing but cookie cutter games, you got to think of money first then the quailty of the game. The gaming companies can make remakes on the arcade sections of the old games ore make remakes and still players can still play the games, but you've got to think of this years generation of gamers that want something more "boom" and "wow" and "needs more stuff" that's like watching a 3D movie with the glasses in a HD big screen TV at the moive theaters. It's in the eyes that "downloads" the info to the brain to know what's what. Madden is still the same except for the graphics.
