I LOVE my G3. I just put in a 650mm 6.03 tight bore barrel, a full RIS sytem, and a Reflex red dot sight. My G3 shoots like an arrow now. A tight bore barrel is a must have in this gun.

If u like this kids gun u should try the real one. I work with it every day. It looks very similar to the MP-5 because they are both manufactured by the same company Heckler und Koch. There only one thing wrong in your gun on the real one the bipod is placed right on the back of the hand.guard. And a curious note the G-3 design was bought to the spanish army that produced an almost identical gun called CETEMA but HK bought the patent and improved the breech mechanism.

@Gouveia100 The real thing is a piece of shit because of the safety, sights, trigger, and tiny width of the butt stock that makes it have harder recoil. And the G3 is similar is similar to the MP5 because they have the same operating system, H&K just scaled it down for the MP5

@CherokeeJohnny6 Well u obviously dont know shit about weapons and in particlar the H&K G-3 because if u did u would know that the recoil on the G-3 has nothing to do with the with of the buttstock but with the recovery spring of the breech. Also the 7.62mm caliber gives it a harder recoil than the 5.56mm peeshooters. Concerning the sights i dont think theyre bad since they are used in almost all of H&K rifles and some other brands like SIG SAUER. Theres nothing worng with the trigger. Cont.

I own this gun and its sick. I run it with a tightbore, new bucking and 11V lipo and its one of the most feared guns at any skirm. The rail for an MP5 will fit just fine on this, thats what I use for my scope and I have no problems.

I have an Echo-1 M4 (no longer use it, just let my friends use it when they don't have a gun). The ABS plastic is really rugged, a metal piece on the stock actually broke before the plastic did (damn friends can't take care of anything >.>)

JG is the chinese company that MAKES the guns.

Echo 1 buys their guns, cleans them, upgrades the internals, and paints it so it isn't so ugly looking. if you buy Echo 1, you are just saving maintenance time and costs

Ok for a fucken G3 dont get rails and then put a scope ontop of the rails. This rifle is supposed to use a claw mount sight. Basically the sight has claws and it mounts ontop of the gun lol. Its a lot more accurate then getting a rail and then putting on the scope.

to my knowledge Echo 1 does a few things better. Echo 1 g3 for example is a JG g3, but it may have metal bushings-better shim job-some things to increase reliability and efficiency/longer life for the gun. Hoped that helped.

ok yeah, i got this gun and the bipod is worthless, VERY heavy, and ALWAYS wiggles way to much. and i VERY much so recommend a new battery, the stock one is junk. the fps is slower ect. ect.

mixed readings on this one mate, most sites say 469mm, i measured my JG G3A3, which is the same thing, I got 509mm-504mm.
