huh... i actually like this. normally i don't like clay's performances so much. not bcuz i don't like his voice, its just to low for my taste.

@f426b, at that time, everybody thought Clay only did ballards and love songs so he wanted to start slow then surprise the audience and show them he can do an upbeat performance too.
And he was really good at it too. Love Clay Aiken! xo

Simon says,"I like you better with my eyes closed." It is actually a compliment because he thinks Clay has a terrific singing voice, which is what really counts in this competition, he just doesn't like that thing Clay does with his mouth.
Although, I think Simon would have gotten in BIG trouble if he had given that same compliment to Susan Boyle! lol

Eh... Hate the slow beginning and he doesn't have the right sound for this song. He's a good singer.. but he made the wrong choice.
