I'd love to see it better! I want to make one out of a couple of bamboo tea trays I found for 7 dollars each. I was wondering about the frets, I was going to just use coated copper wire.
Cardboard is excellent though.
Where could I find a better discussion of your process? I'd really like to make some as presents for the kids I teach.
Holy moly Cap'n Uke... Fantastic... ! here I am self-searching seeing if "The Flea" posted any video from 07's Uke-a-poloza.. And I find you! And this!
What's your gauge of cardboard?!?! Can I get a glimpse of your tuners?
Very Cool!

Can you do a close up of how you made the tuners? (and how to string in them?)

My first video is a plywood shamisen. I wish I could have made such nice music when I posted it.
You made a very nice instrument. Well done.

Your Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star sounds a little like What A Wonderful World.

If I were marooned on a desert island
I'd want someone like you to be included.
With a couple of coconuts and an abalone shell
you'd probably create an entire orchestra!
Seriously, I am impressed.
5 stars!

Dude, you should be proud.
You should also film in better light :).

ignore last comment. im amazed and impressed! did you invent/design this yourself or do instructions on how to make a uke out of cardboard exist?

I was inspired by Bogdon Music's Cardboard Upright Bass and Woody's cardboard ukulele I found on the web. Other than that I just kind of winged it.
