I know most of the dates Bullitt was shown on ITV (it was a very popular film with them). January 1979, September / October 1981, April 1984, July 1986, August 1988, March 1990, March 1993, April 1994 and March or April 1997. After that, it became a fairly regular movie on Channel 5.
@CI5AgentSweeps It was also used in You'll Be Alright as mentioned by GeriatricFan. The tune playing in Mixed Doubles when Doyle chases Joe became kind of a replacement for it. :)
Maybe you should do a vid with this music or similiar music along with the 7Ups car chase :)

Swear I heard this in the Professionals. "You'll be alright" was the episode I think. Though the car chase was decidedly more average than this one.

It was also used in When The Heat Cools Off and in two car chases that were in Man Without A Past. That's the ep I took the audio from. 8)

As I can recall this music was also used in Hunter/Hunted briefly as well :) And of course when Policeman Doyle runs down the stairs in WTHCO :)
