Nobody said Democrats "can't be religious," but anyone familiar with basic political demographics knows that the majority of devout Christians in America are right wingers, and atheists tend to be on the Left. Do your own homework; the numbers are there. Joy Behar was the one who brought the whole thing up, citing a study she'd read. Ann cites what was probably the same study in a footnote on page 14 of her book "Godless."

I've had enough experience with both to mock and laugh at this asinine statement.

Liberal women are incredible, and like to actually move and get into a good rhythm. They will, for the most part, do just about anything that sounds fun or kinky.

Conservatives are frankly boring as hell. They're prudish, have terrible rhythm, and it's a challenge to get them to move past traditional sex (ie fun positions, oral, anal, toys, etc.)

Ann is one of the most neurotic people I have ever seen. The very idea that she is commenting on if "Conservatives have more orgasms" is hilarious. From listening to Ann with her staunch views on just about everything, how rude she is, her OCD with her hair, and her "deep throat" way of talking I doubt she knows anything about being intimate with a partner (because she likely badgers them away before even getting into bed). Ann's "beauty" is completely ironic to her totally frigid personality.

Ann is one of the most judgmental people I have ever seen, and I'm sure she can take my criticism even if you can't acfan84. I'm sure she would even welcome it. By the way, none of what you said changes a single thing that I said. I realize that she was commenting on Behar's reference, hence the reason I said "commenting." Plus, Ann used her "personal experience" to premise her sex-answer of "seriously."

I couldn't care less what you think about her personality, looks, or voice. It isn't important. I'm more interested in the things she talks about. She did not cite her personal experience as a basis for conservatives having better sex. Behar herself said she read it in a study. When asked why it's true, Ann said "They take it more seriously." That's a fact. Conservative Christians take sex more seriously. She only mentioned personal experience because Joy asked if she ever dated liberals.

Of course, she didn't "cite" herself, it's a premise to her statement. What gives Ann the basis to come to the conclusion that Conservatives "take it more seriously" as the exact reason that Conservatives have "more orgasms?" Is she shaking a Crystal ball? Nope. I guess she is then synthesizing an answer based on her experiences.

Ann qualified her statement by making reference to liberals being more promiscuous, and statistically, they are. Of course having sex with strangers is going to be less fulfilling. For married Christians, it's a sacred, spiritual event, not just carnal pleasure. She didn't have time to launch into a thorough explanation, as joy said when she cut her off earlier as she was explaining what was wrong with the economic stimulus bill.

I don't know why anyone would want to appear on the "view" when they get interrupted every time they try to express their "view". its very rude IMO. the whole point is to hear what the guest is trying to say. Barbara Walters needs to put a stop to it. Their discussions come off as being an attack. I'm a democrat, but if I we're interviewing Ann I would want to hear what say. thats the whole point of an interview i think

Right on. My favorite part of this interview was when Ann suggested showing episodes of The View as a form of torture; lol. It just might work; after all the military has used heavy metal music for psychological warfare in Iraq and Afghanistan.
