I really enjoyed DA2. I never play games for the gameplay or combat, I think the story and the characters in DA2 were fantastic, much better than DAO. I've replayed DA2 several times whereas I simply can't replay DAO - it's too big, and I think the story is too generic. Yeah, DA2 might be on a much smaller scale, but the writing in it makes it feel much bigger, I can so easily get lost in it. If you play a game like Dragon Age purely for the combat UR DUIN LYF RONG.

@BlackDude41 I would... i've played and beat DA:O (not DA2... that game was shit) and ME:1&2 as well as beating Jade empire when it first came out. i feel Jade Empire was just as good if not better then DA or ME. Bioware shows alot of promise when EA isn't all over their games trying to cheat us out of our hard earned monies. but i digress. i just picked up Jade Empire off XBL and am enjoying it just as much as i did when i first played it years ago

Jade Empire was way better than DAO, story wise , DAO's story was pretty much standard fantasy stuff , but JE's was something fresh and original ...the game play is more or less the same in both the games.9( tactics is the only thing which makes DAO game play slightly better).Bioware released DAO2, MassEffect2 but has refused to further the storyline of Jade Empire....Wonder Why?..Did it not do as much business as DAO or ME..?

KotoR and Jade empire both were simply amazing back in their day, alot of critics complain about JE's combat system but it was refreshing to be able to actually attack in a fantasy game. (On that note how did they fuck up DA2s combat/gameplay system when Bioware proves itself constantly with amazing RPGs) and we all know how badass KotoR was, so either Bioware is a rollercoaster or EA shoves its dick where it doesnt belong

@iiCandiex3 Stick with Bioware's other games. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is your best bet. The Mass Effect series is pretty close too, but unless you like a bit of shooter along with your RPG, stick with KOTOR. Dragon Age: Origins is also a great game, but it's much more tactical than Jade Empire or KOTOR.

@aha45 Its funny because Bioware released all these new first player role player games and its gamepad friendly combat system though was crazy had something going that you'd think they would take full advantage on. Then again, the combat system of ME1 was overhauled for something like GoW for ME2, which worked itself out well.

nah Baldur's Gate 2 for PC man. Dragon Age is just trying to capture to feeling of those games, while at the same time being a little different. same thing with Neverwinter Nights and KOTOR. they will never make a game as good as Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 on the PC.

Actually...even though I initially really liked this game..it lost it's appeal on me rather quickly. I didn't like how you level up skills and how you often simply just use one skill anyway.

It's pretty...but I felt it was a bit dumbed down.

@lushard Well kinda, it is mostly like KotOR the same system and graphics. Dragon Age you can wear different armors and here you keep the same armor the whole game. But this storyline is a bit better than DA IMHO. :)
