Is the Javelin the same as the AT-4? Can you reload it or is it a one shot and once its been shot you can remove the electronic module. Only reason I'm asking is because I know the AT-4 can only be shot once because the housing gets cracked so you gotta toss it
@snozdog I asked one of my friends in the military, once the projectile is shot it is not supposed to be reloaded in the field, it must be brought back to base and be tested to make sure its safe to fire again.

@lol38810 Air Force is starting to have combat positions. Your AFSC (Air Force Specialty Code or an MOS for other branches) go out on patrols/conveys. Mainly support AFSCs. That's what I mean by turning into the Army. Air Force does not only have pilots because to be a pilot you need to be an O-1 (an officer pretty much) no enlisted can fly a jet. Naval Fighters is simple. Naval Fights = Navy. It's in the name lol

Is the Javelin the same as the AT-4? Can you reload it or is it a one shot and once its been shot you can remove the electronic module. Only reason I'm asking is because I know the AT-4 can only be shot once because the housing gets cracked so you gotta toss it

@snozdog I asked one of my friends in the military, once the projectile is shot it is not supposed to be reloaded in the field, it must be brought back to base and be tested to make sure its safe to fire again.

@ZombieSlayerMovies it's not an M4 you train with a M16A4 lol and most don't realize but to be in the Air Force you need to be an officer to fly any plane lol. The Air Force does have combat roles now however. They are slowly turning into another Army to be honest lol. It's very annoying too see kids talk about how they'll do so good in the Military then you turn around and say: you have 1 chance to live. Their is NO RESPAWNING and then they shut up or continue talking out of their ass LOL

@lol38810 Air Force is starting to have combat positions. Your AFSC (Air Force Specialty Code or an MOS for other branches) go out on patrols/conveys. Mainly support AFSCs. That's what I mean by turning into the Army. Air Force does not only have pilots because to be a pilot you need to be an O-1 (an officer pretty much) no enlisted can fly a jet. Naval Fighters is simple. Naval Fights = Navy. It's in the name lol

@xdir That ballistic antiship missile? Remember that US AEGIS cruisers are equipped with missiles capable of intercepting sattelites. I doubt there would be too much hassle to adjust it to intercepting ballistic missiles too. Besides, these missiles rely on satelites which also can be targeted.

@sartte its not the computer, its radar, you need to be able to track at long distance by sending & receiving radio signals, then take into account the curvature of the earth and the refraction of radar signal.
Palestinian rockets don't even reach mach 1 but the Israeli system has a hit rate of 60% and the radar used is short distant high frequency.

@sartte The Carrier fleet is there solely to protect the carrier, they have no offensive purpose just defense, the Aircraft on a carrier are not fueled ready to go and even if they did take off, will they have enough fuel to reach mainland.
My point was while the US spent $trillions over the last 10 years developing defenses against IED's and focused its airforce on fighting guys armed with AK's & RPG's, the Chinese have gone ahead in tech.
