the apostasy is the worst, most distorted sounding album i've ever heard. its a shame too because there are some killer fcking songs. but the fact that people think it sounds good disturbs me.

sounds like a great mix limited, smashed to pieces. humans can hear 3 samples of distortion, open up a song from apostasy in cubase or protools and look at the wave forms, 50+ samples at 0dbfs in a row. every song.

fingers crossed this one isn't the same. behemoth deserves to sound good not just LOUD.

Well, I liked it because it didn't have any special effects or any help (or very minimal) help from protools and such, nothing that can't be reproduced live (well, except for the symphonic instruments though they could if they wanted to, having people playing it live for the specific songs which need them).

Though I like every single Behemoth album really, specially Demigod.
