I LOVE this video!!!:) but it made me cry!;(;(;(;( I used to watch this movie ALL the time when I was really little. It's still probably one of my all time favs!!!:)
after coming home from the vet one day after my 10 year old dachshund companion died this song came on my radio in my room as i looked through the dog albums we always kept of our dogs that lasted with our family i started bawling my eyes out and another dog of ours started whimpering and slightly howling R.I.P Samantha i luv u girl
This video makes me think of all the pets that are brought to shelters because their owners are unable to take care of them anylonger. And instead of making them suffer, there are some owners who admit they cant take care of their beloved pets anymore and though it hurts, they do the responsible thing and take their pets to a place where they will be taken care of and given the chance to go to another loving and abled home. The right thing to do can hurt both sides. But its for the best sometime
Oh tears were streaming out of my eyes like never before, because I thought of my beloved dog, when he will leave, when I have to say to him goodbye forever and the saddest thing of all is, he won't know, that we can't go together... oh I simply can't think of this, there lies ahead a bit of time though, but nevertheless I can't imagine one day one night without him.
The only time this ever made me cry, not just tear up but literally cry, was the night before I headed off to university. When I realized that I was going to say goodbye to so much that I knew and loved and how, when I would return, nothing would remain the same.
I always hated this part for a reason: It always makes me cry my eyes out. ;3; I love this movie but it always makes me cry, even when I was 5 years old T~T
@btrjamesmaslow11 It's sad to think that some humans don't believe animals have emotions like us and choose to hurt them. I just want to give poor Tod a hug here.
@EmeraldWings Yes, of course animals have emotions and a soul just like us.I wished everybody would understand this. fox and the hound makes me cry everytime I watch it and listen to the sad harmonica music!
@EmeraldWings Not trying to be mean, but she put him in the protected game reserve because she knew Amos was going to kill Tod if she didn't do something to protect him.
Tod actually made me want a fox of my own and made me choose the fox as my main and favorite fursona. :3 Even though, the funny thing is, my favorite housepet is the cat! lol
That woman, it's her bloody fox and she only starts crying when she has to leave, I've seen this a million times and I'm still bawling before she's even got to the reserve.
I'm 25 years old, i have tattoes, i like to work out and martial arts...i'm a tough guy, but i can honestly say i almost cry when i watch clips like this...oh god i love Disney!!
at 17 sec, tears welled up... started wailing like a baby at 37.... and at 1 min I gave up, curled up in the foetal position and wept for the rest of it...This scene must have generated so many tears over the years....
@masterworm1. That was me but the people at the red light saw a girl spittin' to rap music and then start singing the (original) pokemon theme song. XD
Really, abandoning a fox that is so well socialized with people and which has no survival skills at all into the wild pretty much guarantees his early death. Why couldn't she just keep him, anyway?
@Comicat1 she released him because the hound that lives next door, who was once the foxes friend, is trained to kill him, and the man wants to shoot him, so she releases him so that he can be free and go outside, without getting caught by the hound.
@Comicat1 You are actually right. Here it is a sad scene and necessary thing for her to do, but in reality a fox that has been raised in a human household would quickly die in the woods. If this were real she would be condemning him to death.
Recent events happened similar to this, that day I was so upset I was going through my movies when I stumbled upon this movie I watched it and listened to this song again it made me cry even harder, but regain my strength. Such a touching movie.
I was jamming out in my car the other day to some random music and then this came on. I'm sure it was weird for everyone else at the red light to see a grown man head banging to some metal and then stop and instantly start to cry.
I don't care what anyone says. This was a great movie. And to me, this scene is the only Disney scene sadder than Bambi's mother's death, or Mufasa's.
... Exactly like my cat, who has been with me every second of my life. I've never not had him. The only difference between this scene and me and my cat is that instead of putting him in a forest, he got put down... RIP Tigger <3
Well fuck. I've gotten through countless of movies with those super sad parts and gotten through without "getting something in my eye".. But this one? Got lots of stuff right in my eyes, that's for sure... Jeez :I
@boffinme80 Mhm God gave us these distinct personalities that are natural. But I think some people are just emotionally tougher, their crying won't be too obvious in the outside but they must have felt terrible in their heart.
@snowwhite923 OK, but I would respect your beliefs. You have to respect in order for me to respect you too =p. But this is a REALLY SAD and catastrophic part. Reminds me of my Dad and Mom's divorce :(
this is my favorite part in the movie. makes me cry cuz i think about my mom. she's not dead, she just abandoned me when i was 8. i still miss her 7 years later. this was our favorite movie :'(
@deathbird72 Don't cry, perhaps one day your mom will be missing you and will come back to your side; and she will reunite with you together. A family is never complete without one family member. Take care and remember there's always a God in Heaven to watch over the souls of people. You are very commendable for having the means to endure all kinds of adversaries, calamities and catastrophes. For now, don't be sad and keep moving on in life. One day, she will return. One day.
This song is pure heartbreak. The sense of loss is overwhelming. I lost a guinea pig back in May and I still mourn her. I never got to say goodbye... Cherish every moment you have with someone you hold dear. Never take them for granted. You never know when they'll leave you. I really miss my guinea pig...
I remember when I was really little, like 4, me and my sister used to watch this movie every night. I remember I would cry EVERY single time I saw it, and I still do. It's so touching.
ok if you watch this and dont cry or at least tear up then you have some problems... i loove this movie and this part of it always makes me feel sooo sad...
To me, this was by far the SADDEST moment of all in all the Disney movies I watched in my childhood... and I find it still hits me the hardest. I cried like a baby watching this. Because it's how I feel everyday... except I know it's forever.
Man i haven't seen this movie in like forever and my sister brings the scene up, my nephew who is 3 started crying then she cried..i held it in, until we watched the movie and this scene came on i cried my eyes out..im a guy and im 22. But yea me n my nephew hugged it out lol!
anyone who has owned a pet that youve loved and care for can understand this heartbreak and sadness and what it feels like to lose them :( RIP to all that have moved on<3
And for some reason it makes me think of my four dogs who've died in the past year :'( We've had them through many trials and they always encouraged me. They were like family. But after they got put down and died from age, I told myself, "goodbye may seem forever, farewell is like the end. But in my heart are memories and they will always be."
@MsDisneyObsessed i had 2 dogs that were put to sleep myself recently so i know how that hurts and yes the memories will always last in ur heart so youre not alone
@MsDisneyObsessed I feel for you. You are very commendable to have the strength; the means to endure the greatest of catastrophes, adversaries, calamities and large-scale events, Your four dogs are resting in peace; one day; perhaps they will come back.
@MsDisneyObsessed Me too. My dog that I grew up with just died this summer. She died at a young age for her breed, and even though it happened months ago and we already have a new puppy, the sadness and agony is still fresh, like it happened yesterday.
I remember when I was about 7 or 8 my brother asked me which Disney movie I thought was the most sad, and I said The Lion King, but he said it was The Fox and the Hound. I found it odd that my big brother thought of anything as sad because I'd never seen him upset about anything before.
I'm so lame that even before that scene came on, tears were already fucking flowing. Possibly saddest and most beautiful movie. Even with all the tragedy, he found true love and the power of friendship saved his and his friends life.
@asslber Because the next door neighbor wants to kill it and foxes don't like to be inside at all times, so she thought it was best to release it somewhere it cannot be found, but eventually does.
I LOVE this video!!!:) but it made me cry!;(;(;(;( I used to watch this movie ALL the time when I was really little. It's still probably one of my all time favs!!!:)

I remember when I was about 7 or 8 my brother asked me which Disney movie I thought was the most sad, and I said The Lion King, but he said it was The Fox and the Hound. I found it odd that my big brother thought of anything as sad because I'd never seen him upset about anything before.
This part makes me cry every time I watch it.

I'm so lame that even before that scene came on, tears were already fucking flowing. Possibly saddest and most beautiful movie. Even with all the tragedy, he found true love and the power of friendship saved his and his friends life.

Why the fuck did that old bitch leave the fox behind?
asslber 8 months ago
@asslber Because the next door neighbor wants to kill it and foxes don't like to be inside at all times, so she thought it was best to release it somewhere it cannot be found, but eventually does.
