my mum had a granada when i was a kid - it was an orange one - will always remember no seatbelts in th back :D and my dad crashing it because he was used to his 635 bmw, and the cortina had no brakes in comparison! good times lol

obviously there was never 4 styles made then..........................­..........the owners club im in with over 4000 members must all be wrong too...............that'll upset em,

mk1, mk2 pre and post facelift,mk3 and then the ultima. over 35 years of the model.......and its spelt GRANADA not grenada. grenada is an island in the carribean/west indies.

im sure of that too, i stopped off there when flying to St Kitts.

im guessing that by using the word mom and sedan that your in the us mate. the american version didnt look like the european model in the vid.

australians had a ford falcon which looked like our cars and all of europe had the same but also came in a 2 door option. the mk3 granada is know in the us as a mercur or something but that is pretty much the same here too

there were indeed mate, they were a different shape too. probably had better engines too as ours never exceeded 3 litres. the mk3 in this country was called a mercur or similar in the us

I was 23 Years Old when I bought My One A 1985 C reg Mk 2 2.8 Ghia X Executive Grey and Silver Leather etc I absolutley Loved it. We took a dealing with a series 2 RS Turbo one Saturday Lunch Time He was devestated never told me how fast his turdbo was ever again. I wish I had never sold it. Traded it at Junction 28 against a 4x4 Cosworth.

@ricks247 Australia produced a Falcon basd on this car in 1979 had a 4.1lt straight 6, 4.9 lt and 5.8 lt V8 (google the XD falcon)

Ford Granada Mark II

Better than any BL Jaguar or Rover and gaining a classic cult status in the Netherlands lately, especially the Gia and estate models.

Too much of these cars have ended up in banger races.

i had granada mk2 2.8i ghia x 1984 b701 bof in champagne gold what a car it was then even had trx alloys on and the 2.8i chin spoiler on and boot spoiler .then had the scorpio no where as good as the mk2

had my mk2 for 16 years and have started rebuilding it, other models/mk's were ok,they just didnt have the "feel" and missed the road presence of the mk2 though. its dated now but for its time it was always the "one to have ".

best car ive ever owned so far and look forward to driving it again in the near future

kids dont have em on chav cars as chav cars wont require 5 studs to hold the wheels on in the first place.
