Here's what I got out of this video: It is better to be prepared and not have an opportunity than to have opportunity and not be prepared.

Preparation does two things. It sets in motion the laws of success so you can meet the thing for which you prepare. It helps shape your self-image so you will embrace the opportunity when it arrives.

Obviously, Les Brown got ready and his self-image followed along. So he was ready when "Rock" gave him his big break.

The man has energy like no other. Seeing the obstacles he had to overcome makes me hungry. It makes me want to drive even harder than I already am. Men like this are world-changers.

I love this guy! His words changed my life. He once sent me an e-mail when I was discouraged that said (Not His exact words) "It is acceptable to die one day with unfulfilled dreams. The tragedy is to die one day with no dreams." Would love to meet him someday. And the name "Butterball" is such a very funny name!

Les Brown use to be married to Gladys Knight, but despite her brilliant singing ability, she was very negative when it came to certain goals Les Brown wanted to achieve. As initiated a divorce from her.

She was actually surprised by the divorce. It's almost as if she didn't believe that he followed his own lectures that he gave.
