bfree2live the basic facts remains that Ayo is a yoruba name,we have yoruba's heritage in Saro as Sierralone is called in my tribe and NIGERIA is the home of Yorubas thru out the universe...be it Brazil,Cuba,Sierralone etc.
Ayo Johnson is a gem to Nigeria. I have been following his work and progress on the ladder of journalism and i must say he is simply first class. Stay on the top bro!
I've googled him and found nothing on his country heritage. All the websites simply say he's of African heritage. There's no specific country mentioned. I finally went to his facebook fan page and saw that he's a member of a few Sierra Leonean groups, no Nigerian ones. One of them is 1983 Class of Fourah Bay College (the first university in West Africa) in Sierra Leone. I'm not saying this to brag. Your comment forced me to do my own research. In any case, he's OUR African brother..:):)

He makes all Africans proud.
BTW...
Ayo is a common name among Krios in Sierra Leone. I have two family members with this name. So it's understandable why you'd get confused.
