i have that exact boat. i think their restore was good....hey mr negative what are you an engineer for this particular boat . they replaced what they saw that needed to be replaced ..
Its cool you got to use it quick. You did a band aid job. It wont last as long as it originally did. Judging by the images Im willing to bet the main stringer is water logged/rotted. The 2 small structure stringers are probably the same. You just bolted some pressure treated wood to a crappy stringer and didnt glass it in. When your floor starts to feel like your walking on a mattress you'll know what Im talking about. Cheers!
@Boricua3374 I did mine the same way, I didn't need to cut the bow wood out as it didn't rot, why do more than you need to, it's been 2 years since I rebuilt it and it's better than factory. He's bitching cause you didn't separate the top and lift it off. I thought about doing it and then said WHY???

I have a 1988 Thunder Craft 18ft w/ I/O 2.5 Mercruiser engine. Love our boat. Will be taking it back out tomorrow. Keep on boating!
