This is for real?! I'm not sure whether I'm more amazed by the playing or amused by the silliness of the piece. Either way, much respect to Lindberg for being a great player and having the guts to break down barriers in the performance medium of solo trombone.

I love this guy. If i want to hear formal, beautiful trombone, I go listen to Joseph Alessi, but when I'm in a playful mood and want to hear trombone, this video is the way to go. All of his music in all of his videos are great. i just particularly love the lighthearted, fun nature of this one.

@Giggles154242 yeah.. it's pretty crazy he has been smoking a long time. Back in 01 or 02? he was getting ready to run his first marathon and was saying on his website how it was going to be hard because he has been smoking for so long. He got through it though and has done several marathons now. Pretty cool thing though, he said on his site to wish him good luck, so I sent in an email doing that.. a few months later I get in the main a signed cd of his and a personal note saying thanks!

And you can hear half of each song, rather than just a minute. I strongly suggest anyone that likes Christian Lindberg check out this website.

Him killing the conductor is absolutely brilliant. And the performance, from what I can tell, was pulled off rather well. The girl's screaming was really good.
