God says there IS a devil, the Head fallen Angel. So yes, he does exist. He also comes as an Angel of light(goodness), to Fool people. He sure couldnt Fool anyone-Looking like that, now could he.
Whoa!Correction(8:14):the fallen archangel is called "Lucifer".He called himself "Satan"(the opposing one) AFTER the fall.When he no longer was an archangel among the archangels but the enemy of god himself! Slightly difference...Maybe some should switch their fair intend from shocking people to paying attention to certain relevant and most SENSITIVE details! All part of that nasty kit called being professional...(Nat.geo. stop messin' with my old papp's history!).
This illustration of the devil is OBVIOUSLY a cartoon designed to ridicule the devil to to make light of him not to glorify him .Furthermore it is not possible to sell your soul to the devil furthermore why would anyone attempt such a transaction?This documentary is a load of hyperbole and absurd conjecture NAT GEO should be ashamed.

@MrNewkingjames You are forgetting key points:
- 800 years ago, not believing in god and the devil brought a death penalty.
- The monk was sentenced to death. At that point, he thought god forsaken him, thus he turned to satan for help.
- 800 years ago, people believed everyone had souls, and they were the most important possession one had.
- It is you, who show no knowledge whatsoever about the time the book was written, and should be ashamed, not national geographic tv.
