That first round was bullshit tbh. Capcom needs to redo the whole Ultra System. Being able to take away like 70% from a player that dominated you the whole round because of one lucky moment/right guess (in that case, the cr.HP after the roll) is just retarded. Not saying that Shiro isnt a great player, but thats just plain stupid imo.

you cant have crazy offense and health otherwise you'll be overpowered

Well he was obviously not blocking because he tried to counter something else. That was the mixup, but you shouldnt be able to take away 60% from a player because you guessed right once imo.

I mean, come on:

C.Viper guess right like 8 times in this round an dealed 1090 dmg.

Abel guesses right twice and wins because his Ultra got so powerful because he got beat up the whole round.

You shouldnt really be awarded for being bad (not as a player, but maybe in that particular round).

Even without Ultras one mistake at that level of play usually results in that much of a loss.

Not really. Most of the cast can hardly do 25% with an easy (read: practical) combo (35% against low stamina characters)

Actually a fair portion of the cast can at least remove 300 damage and it usually results in a knockdown which means mix ups afterward. Against really good players you eat your mistakes whether they have the Ultra meter or not.

I don't really care about the dmg output % but I can agree that getting rewarded for getting hit is kinda dumb. Although it creates comeback hype, I think it's questionable in terms of competitive grounds. But it does add a sense of strategy when spanning out dmg. Oh so debatable.

actually, Umeso does fierce hundred hand slap which automatically moves Honda forward, even if you're charging back down. And you can cancel that into super; it's actually a pretty easy combo.
