I saw them play this live at the London O2 last friday on the Made in Germany tour... and I'm seeing it again in Maanchester next Thursday. This is my favorite Rammstein song <3 During the second chorus, Till fell to his knee's and above him, massive flaming sparks fell down on him for the whole chorus; he just knee'led their and took it. Rammstein's music is amazing, and they put so much into their shows.. to the point where they are putting there bodies on the line and enduring massive pain

Mutter does not mean an actual mother..its a representation of modern Germany...It is the guilt-ridden, post-war (WWII) "mother" democratic Germany he wishes ill. Thats what he sings about ppl. No one to grant a name, no one to feed milk, etc... even on wikipedia it says that both Till and Richard have stated that the song is about the bad relationships the band had with their mothers when they were young.

Read the whole translation in english and you'll understand the political meaning of it.
