Oh while I'm here I wanted to ask (and my apologies for spamming your video comment) Should I keep all boxes from sets I buy? or just the more collectable sets? I'm sorta a builder/collector I have a mix of vintage sets from the 80's and 90's right up to today's modern stuff.

This is a very good review of the Garbage truck. I just bought this set today. It's a great set and I agree I much prefer the previous uniform. I also found it quite fiddly to get the driver into the trucks cab. It's a great truck in all. I have both the old one and the new one on my desk and IO can;t decide which I like best. and yes the green is a brighter green than the old traditional green color. The set is 14.99 (British pounds) here in England.

Also the new truck looks very much like the DENNIS or Mercedes garbage trucks we have here in england so yeah I'd say the new one is more european based.

I do have to say I'm I love my 7998. It's just great. It's rugged. It defiantly has that American/Canadian look. Sorry I'm from Canada and America aren't the only ones with trash trucks like that. The minifig for 7998 is defiantly trash truck material. I do have to say I wish 7998 had a better system for the bin emptying. The new one is just "ok" in my standards. It's more Euro for me. It has a modern look which is good. But the minifigs aren't good. I mean they probably could be found in a

As cool as some of the licensed themes are for Lego, the City theme is just too awesome!

Using a sticker for the grill isn't a clever move, after around 2 years the stickers start to curl and break off.

I never knew the number plate letters were the designers initials, but where would you find the designers initials on a set like the fire station???

@beybladeguru101 Yes you can for a zombie film! (I would use the armored truck from Bank and Money Transfer)I would reccomend this set if you want to expand your car collection, as well as 4435, 4436, 4431, 3648, 4437, and 8403 if you can still find it.

Whats weird about LEGO City is that they are planning on releasing 2 more Landfill sets. One is a Truck and Landfill (The containers are dumpsters) It comes with a forklift and a small area that is supposedly the landfill. The other is a Tipper truck that goes very well with the new Red Cargo Train..
