Sorry but its so transparent, she is so copying Bjork. Her dance moves, outfits and the whispery "nordic" accent on this track makes me cringe for her. Bjork is an orginal and a genius any imitation is going to look cheap. I'm sure it's hard to be completely original and artists are natuarally influenced by those who have gone before them. Good luck to BFL and I hope they/she finds her own direction.

Its just that dress that makes you feel she's copying Bjork, its exactally the same as the sort of thing Bjork would and has worn. Her voice and style of music if very different from Bjorks

As a fan of both Bjork, and BFL, I think your comment is a bit shortsighted.

Bat for Lashes has a darker vibe with much influence from the 80s. Her style is constantly changing, as is Bjorks.

What they DO have in common is music. They're both musicians with eccentric ways of showing their personality. I see no shame in that.
