  • me against the world was just tu-pac crying like a little girl and no good beats/rhymes - it was terrible

  • and if one more person says "yo dawg ti is tight and lil wayne a pussass bitch" i beg of you - tell me WHYYYYYYYYYYY you fucking braindead fucknose

  • yo dawg ti is tight and lil wayne a pussass bitch

  • dr.dre makes really REALLY bad beats and he cant rap for shit. not because his voice is bad but because hes too stupid to think of anything good.

lil wayne rhymes well and his attention to detail is astounding - his album sold more than 3 million copies (although i know that wont convince you idiots). what i dont understand is why you think t.i. and lil wayne as so different?? i mean lil wayne is obviously the smarter choice but t.i.s album was so commercial more so than lil wayne?? :S

  • people who think oldskool was trying to get a "message out" are just repeating what people were wanting it to be perceived as back then. i.e. you can imagine q-tip wanting to be thought of as a flow master and although he is people nowadays try to claim that he is even though its pretty fucking obvious. public enemy were the main ones to start a political message although there were a few. tupac was horrible he only got status because of biggie and then fame because he was shot.

  • @JapanAlex01

Not really, Tupac was already a legend after the release of Me Against the World.

  • Momma also said clean your room and take the trash out.

  • im gonna knock you out

  • i need more songs like this on my library! any suggestions?

  • this song is tight

  • ok what about T.I paper trail?? case and point :p (for you morons) im sure ya'll like it rather than lil wayne because he's "more street" lol there are barely any legitimate street rhymes anyway - maybe only biggie, im sure the wutang were all drug dealers and even ghostface sounds 50/50 true and false. nas is probably the least likely to have done anything he says he has. at least lil wayne cares about music rather than street cred and ill take music other street cred anyday. :p

  • man just stfu.. please you obviously dont know shit about rap or street life yet you think you do. yer comments are fucking annoying, stop posting.. who the fuck are you to judge if anyone put in street work when I bet you never done none in yer life.

  • tupac,ll coolj, biggie,dr.dre, and t.i. those r the rappers i like amigo those r the ones you can learn from in my opinion lil waynes just a fake ass faggot

  • lol all you hip-hop-alites think that oldskool is good and the new "processed" hip-hop is bad - i understand the viewpoint but it doesnt change the thing that matters - the song structure etc - lil wayne is one of the best rappers going at the moment you all know it you just dont understand song structure - you just follow what "you think"/what everyone tells you to think but act like you made your own decision :p

  • sorry man, yer straight up wrong. old school was about love of the art, flipping crazy rhymes, making people feel and see things in a different light. commercialized hip hop is all about glorifying gangsters, money, cars, bitches.. its about keeping people braindead. you dont see mainstream rappers exposing issues and talking real shit like they did in the past so dont give me that bullshit. your taste in music is straight ASS imo..

  • don't call it a comeback - I've been here for years

  • if you chose beastie boys licensed to ill that would have been fine - even stretch to mama said knock you out or fishcale both of which are great albums but itanomthub is obviously the best hip-hop album of all time - illmatic has just become the idiots choice just as radiohead has ... ¬.¬ :p

  • life after death was better but still not the best - case and point you are a tool also

  • Let me tell you fucks something, Momma said knock you out, I said knock you out! Fools!!!!

  • *no regard

  • shut up u dont know shit man .. comparing nirvana and tupac ? wtf lol ... tho i agree Tupac have always sucked ..

  • lol so what the fucks your problem? :S :p

  • 1. eric b /+ rakim always sucked

    2. Lil wayne is good - tha carter III was the 2nd best album 2008?! :S you people have no taste in music :p

    3. 2pac always sucked and its only because he died people listen to him - you could compare that to nirvana apart from nirvana are good (although highly overrated)

  • dude -_- seriously if you have no knowledge or good taste in rap dont come here talking like your dr.dre

  • bornacriminal (obviously *rolls eyes :p) youre obviously a hip-hop aficionado who knows little about song structure etc but im not here to belittle you so let me leave you with this question - which is the best rap album of all time? 1. it takes a nation of millions to hold us back or 2. illmatic? if you answer itanomthus you like song structure etc if you answered illmatic you are a tool, have regard for form and an idiot. case and point *crosses arms :p

  • what if i choose ready 2 die

  • seriouslt WTF u talk about Public Enemies and then u talk about lil wayne it's like saying both food and shit is good

  • I'd throw a right cross and knock his old ass out!

  • LL in his prime will beat anybody you have today. (Jay z, Lil wayne, 50, etc. all garbage)

  • @n00140716 Sad thing is he still can.

  • old school hip hop kicks all this garbage they call hip hop today. who will compare to run dmc, ll, biggie,2pac, krs one, eric b and rakim, etc. all you have today is garbage!

  • @ n00140716

    don't forget about public enemy!

  • there goes the super smash bros symbol on the chair

  • lol

  • what happend to LL cool j ?

  • television.

    lol

  • This will never get old. EVER.

I work out to this shit, and everyone i've ever met in my gym loves this shit.

  • I don't really care for LL Cool J, but i have to admit this is a great pump up song.

  • can ANYBODY name some similar tunes to this & run dmc?

i generally dont listen to much hip hop/old school rap. but this sort of stuff is unreal.

  • public enemy

    krs one

  • Fuck yeah this rap gets me fuckin pumped

  • fucking underground!straight from da sewer

  • One of the pioneers of rap/hiphop... that's LL! still in this game! rhymin like an animal! SIIIICCCCKKKKK!!!

  • sik tune mn, this is real hip hop, not like the money money money shit u hear these dayz

  • The beat is bananas, RAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Which boxer in the 90s came out to fight to this song?

  • they dont in most pure, good rap cuz its about lyrical content not trying to act tough

  • i notice he doesnt swear lol

  • this song is awesome

  • Gangsta boogie, gangsta boogie

  • This song really gets you hyped.

  • I'm not usually into rap, but this shit rocks!

  • *****OLD SKUL*****

  • Your not weird you just have taste.

What goes around comes around anyway, you can bet someone will start using old skool beats again soon and then everyone will be pretending they were always into it.

  • juiceyboy17: There is nothing wrong nor wierd with likeing old school beats. Remember thats where everything started.

  • If i remember correctly this track was used for Soundtrack for moovie The Rookie with James Woods & Charlie Sheen..Blast Off Track..5 & Favorites..

  • mamma told me to knock this kid out now....

  • i just heard this at pwr wrestling last night haha i love this song

  • Love the ending. Wish other rappers had a sense of humour like that.

The song is basically just a brag but he does it so much better...

  • I don't think anybody has a sense of humor anymore, its not just rappers.

  • best song ever hands down

  • I like this verse :)

Why do u riff with me, the maniac psycho

And when I pull out my jammy get ready cuz it might go

BLAAAAW, how ya like me now?

    The river will not allow

U to get with, Mr. Smith, dont riff

    Listen to my gear shift

  • Great workout song!!!

  • An old friend "Frank" nicknamed me after u. Also had a friend "Jens", who told me there were "Brothers" & there were "Chumps". Brothers were Proud, Chumps were Jealous. Remember that White Guys are "Brothers" or "Chumps" too.

  • oldschool (:

  • lol

  • nu uh! he's been on top since..... along time. why do people have to post bad comments??? >:I

  • My GOD this is a good song --- LOVE it!! Can't ever hear this too much!

  • classic

  • Hey parks, why don't you fuck off back to a susan boyle video or something? wanker? that word alone tells me you would not understand the origins of rap, the pioneers, or the purpose. Don't you pussies across the water have some lady gaga you need to be listening to?

What were you listening to in 1991? Hmmmmm? If you were even alive then I'm betting you'd be a New Kids On My Cock kinda guy.

  • Thanks for the stereotype, you little shit. Take your shite conclusions elsewhere.

  • You know how stereotypes become stereotypes? By being true a majority of the time fuckstick.

If you wanna get on here and jump to the defense of some random countryman good for you, at least your are one step above a frenchman in that. :)

  • Alternatively, they become stereotypes because a large group of really fucking stupid people congregate together long enough to absorb each other's dumb fuck opinions, like the brainless sponges they truly are. But thanks for spouting your mindless shit all over youtube. It's nice too see people making the effort.

  • no i'm not the dead penguin shaith43 is

  • Hold On but Kwanye West is the most overrated under talented Jackass. Oh I'm sorry Soulja Boy but you're come in second as one the most overated, under talented jackasses.

  • grammars

  • Kayne wasn't overrated until now... "The College Dropout" was and is a classic rap album... and "Late Registration" was good... his newer shit is the overrated stuff... but nobody can deny that his first album was amazing... Through the Wire? Slow Jamz? Jesus walks? some amazing shit on there... sorry Lil wayne is the most overrated under talented jackass... soulja boy's still 2nd.

  • THATS TRUTH

  • so right . I loved the first album but as time went on kanye got more pop and got a bigger head

  • fuck kanye

Fuck the rest of these lightweights !

  • this is a really awesome and the first time i heard this was on a the 20 hottest videos

  • LL doesn't get credit enough for how he actually sings this. Seriously. I'm a singer. Have you ever tried to actually sing this ENTIRE song??? Try to do it with the power he does from beginning to end. I haven't been able to yet and I fucking rock a mic. Few people could. This is a truly knock out song.

  • I tried once. I succeeded, but I could barely breathe afterwards. It's really difficult.

  • remember thou, he had some rage with this song with all the posers who said he could not make it in the 90's. This man is a one man wrecking crew and puts all new hip hop and rap to shame.

  • you don't "sing" rap... lmao

  • you obviously don't rap.

  • i miss 90s

  • Rock music in the 90's really blew. Kurt Cobain made it sound like it was a crime to be happy.

On the other hand, 90's Hip Hop was amazing. I wish stuff of this quality would make a comeback and demolish Soulja Boy.

  • and demolish lil wayne, flo rida, young jeezy, pretty much every rapper that has "young" or "lil" in front of their names.

  • one of the best hip hop tracks of all time!!!!!

  • this kind of stiff is what i miss LL is real not like theese fake ass rappers today they have some CORNY ass shit they call "music".

  • I hate rap. Absolutely hate it.

    LL....however.....is the real deal.

A talent and I think he and his music....are terrific.

    His Bod is awesome too.

    :)

  • He's not the only one Please tell me you hate Lil wayne rap and not 80's and 90's rap

  • abdominals pretty good charli 2na fish with J5 had a few good songs

  • MAMA SAID KNOCK YOU OUTTT

  • its enough to see the date of release to understand its real rap!

  • is that the Humpty Dance sample?

  • @cookiesncreme99 i think so.

  • yes it is. THIS song is also featured on the 'Humpty Dance Award" interlude or whatever it is, from Digital Undergrounds 'The Body-Hat Syndrome' album

  • yea i have to admit this was and still is bad fuckin ass

  • where da gud shit at now...we need more like dis all we stuck wit is watch me crank watch me go...get dat shit outta hurr

  • Rap is still good. well in the underground

    side it is..

  • if u dont knock em out moma will knock em out O_O

  • ol school

  • ll reminds me of flloyd mayweather jr

  • I always said old school or no school. Unless your talking about education which in that case I would recommend that everyone should pro-sue an education.

  • "Don't you dare stare, you better MOVE. Don't ever compare!" LL still one of the BEST! Woulda liked to see more of his perfect pecs in the video though. :D

  • i hope ur a chick!

  • Old School Or no School!!!!

  • LL ROCKS THE BELLS!!

  • I remeber the In Living Color version with Jay Jay in his mother's basement. That issh was funny as hell yo.

  • Guy at 4:10 looks like Arlovski getting KO'ed by Fedor

  • This reminds me of working out in the Laverne gym with Sugar Shane Mosely!

  • llcoolj and vanilla ice and possibly mc hammer r like the only rappers setting a good example

  • lmao check out some of LL Cool J's other stuff, lots of it is about sex.

  • Will Smith ? (As In DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince)

  • @xtcblitz as in James Todd Smith

  • Ahh yeah, tearing up the cassette player with this song while playing Super Mario Brothers over summer break. The good ol days.
