@thecowboysheart The walk-up starts in a regular D, then the rest are with the G string open: B string 3rd fret/G string 5th fret, then move that up two frets, then it ends on B string 10th fret/E string 12th fret.
Hey, Excellent job! I've wanted to know how to pick this song for years now, and I'm just gettin' round to it. I was on the right track off the cuff by ear, but thought I'd speed up the process and look for tutorials on it. I believe you got it, chap! Thanks! Keep strummin' and pickin'... :)
Thanks for the video on Rocky Mountain High. I learned it your way and just changed a few small things to make it easier for me to play and sing too. Anyway, thanks for the video it helped me a lot.
@harrellbugg Yeah -- being able to play it, and being able to play it WHILE SINGING are two entirely different things. I've never had trouble singing harmony while playing, but for some reason, I have difficulty singing lead melodies while playing.
Yea, its hard when your not singing and you gotta count and if you dont ya lose track, perfect I think as perfect as music should be anyway. IMO...... you got good hands and feel. I learned this song in about 15 minutes from just watching you. Great job and thanks!

@jeferstrings It's really just a handful of parts repeated over and over. Like most pop songs!

This was what I was looking for. Playing in tempo. Amazing how many other "Instructional" video's out there are from poor musicians.
Nice work. Thanks.
