the weapons glitch was done as so:

1. wield the weapon you want the stance for.

2. sit in any chair.

3. while in the chair, put on the weapon you want.

4. if you want a shield also, sit back in the chair and wield the shield

You are 100% correct for the sled. I remember doing it as well.

It also still can be done with a lift or logging out from a unregistered teleport

The bedsheet glitch had been reborned so many times, I lost count.

However the most widespread/leaked way was using the falador partyroom teleport from the ports bank when the drop exceeded 1m. At the time it was an unregistered teleport.

There were always like 20 people smuggling it per drop and it was fun :P

That being said, it was probably done by any unregistered teleport back then.

The sitting stance at one point was widely leaked. (the interfaced version)

In the video, its most likely he teleported out while spamming an interface and followed someone far off screen then again spamming an interface to not lose it.

Stance catching glitches work by utilizing the fact that when your not in your default stance, doing an emote will set you not to default, but rather to the default of what you currently are.

It has been done with the eating emote on a chair, since jagex intended eating on a chair and set it so you wouldn't lose the chair when eating.(thus setting you back to chair stance after eating emote)

It has also been done multiple other ways, with 2 still working today that I know of.

In response to you not remembering how the weapon glitch was performed, was it not you first wield the boxing gloves, get caught in vines, and switch weapons whilst caught? Then you do the basic POH smuggle.

If I remember correctly, that'd cause it... but I'm right there with you.. old ass glitch, hard to remember, especially because there were so many using nearly the exact same techniques, haha.
