Man I loved playing this game. The boss music was memorable AND catchy too. It's a real shame they don't make games like this anymore. Not just the Turtles, but Final Fight, Streets of Rage, etc.
@syxx573 In this one, seems so. Same with TNMT 2: The Arcade game for the NES, where he also just flies away. But in the SNES game TNMT IV: Turtles in Time you fight Krang, as the 2nd last boss, in some kind of flying saucer. However, once you defeat him, he doesn't escape. The saucer explodes with Krang still inside. I'll hazard as guess and say, that Krang probably didn't survive that.
