  • it works way better with sealed 3.8 pro-line sand paws or paddle tires my friend drove across a lake and very nearly got it stuck in the middle of this lake

  • correction, traxxas driving in water

  • hy, de France , you are one Killer il est mort ton truck électrique ...;)

    electric truk is kill

    de Road's

  • That's the weirdest looking submarine I have ever seen. LOL

  • @JaimeNunyabusiness , hy, Man, il a tout grillé de sur.

il doit se mettre au sous-marin

    hé, hé,

    A+

  • thats how you burn the motor

  • yes traxxas makes all of there cars and trucks waterproof look it up

  • Not made for water. Sorry , get an rc boat. They are pretty cool.

  • It's called water proofing dumb ass

  • so how much did a new motor, esc, servo and radio gear cost you?

  • which sound tracks that?

  • It floats at first. Then the foam gets wet and it sinks. If you don't dry them up. Nice paint job.

  • buy a boat jackass

  • @shawntexan Boats suck, jackass.

  • great look,cool green color

  • it helps with paddles

  • No shit it drives on water!! y else wld it be water proof dumbass

  • and that is why God created the BOAT,,,HEHEHEHEHE

  • summits are tough as hell there a kick ass truck iv owned many rc and the summit is the only one i haven't destroyed the only fall back about the summit is the motor the stock motor SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! ya it has power ya it has speed but it blows so easy iv had my summit for just over 2 years and i went thru 4 motors in 6 months!!!!!! and finaly i transferred it to a brushless and now its is the sickest toy ever. itsjust like my e-revo brushless but way tougher and can go anywhere

  • You have made more cool than it is stock! :D BUt I do not think that it is good to risk driving in water. It is not cheap and I have also never seen something like this :)

  • those poor, unfortunate bearings

  • there all water proof looks stock

  • nice cover

  • Is that all stock?

  • put paddles and it will forward faster in water

  • Dude put some Vintage Tamiya plastic bearings in there! It would be trick!! DO IT!!

  • Jesus's car!

  • LOL if it went in the drain LOL!!!

  • @david8dkb I was thinking the same thing. Lol.

  • I just bought a 1/8 summit used from a kid for 100 bucks he tought it was broke but after I took it apart i found out that mud was stuck in the esc and would. Not let it start lol but from the half gallon oof water iv got out of the tires I can telll the summit is as close to water proof as iv founnd in a rc truck! Its impressed me soo far

  • the vid should be called: summit is driving IN water!!!!

  • is it stock or modded?

  • @3pirate1 Its modded but you could get very similar performance with a stock Summit in water or on rocks.

  • i hear ya show me the car fax

  • This video= Reason I don't buy used rigs on eBay. Thanks for sharing though fun to watch YOU do it and not my Summit =)

  • @NoLabelApparel The bearings in the entire truck including motor were eventually destroyed. You can get a bearing set for under $20 on ebay for the truck and $30 for motor bearings. Not the end of the world but still a waste of 50 bucks. I have driven the truck through everything.. and drive it at least 3 times a week for the past two years. I'm not a Traxxas fan.. but this is a great truck.

  • @drvonhoss I am stunned that more people don't give the Summit props. Just stunned.

  • @NoLabelApparel

But the summit is already waterproof out of the box so not like it damages anything major.. just bearings. ;)

  • @NoLabelApparel They are ment to do that and everything is replaceable, but hey you spend the money and buy new and ill buy yours off you when your A.D.D. kicks in 6 months from now and ill save the money lol

  • i heard the mamba monster is not waterproof and if it is how did u make it waterproof?

  • try to drive it full speed into the water!!

it may hydroplane then. do it!!!

    it would be awesome!!!!

  • loosen your shocks kinda..one the rocks it looked bumppy

  • I do not think already am water thing it have also still schroefjes look but one slash schroefjes of the veroesten and I file scarcely in water sometimes a puddle pool but more

  • dude put some wheights in the wheels. will do better in water

  • haha that's awesome! can't wait to get mine! next year lol

  • Bees! Bees! BEEEESSSS!!

  • the summit can go in the water even though mamba? it does not break?

  • Nice Paint Job!!!

  • You have to have 40 series mudslinger tires, with beadlock rims so you can seal the tires with silicone when you put on the tires to the rim. My truck floats on water good.

  • I'm guessing you waterproofed the ESC?

  • @donaldcreason I did. The biggest problem has been bearing rust. Also.. the receiver keeps getting wet. The Mamba has been great after coating the PC Board with liquid electrical tape.

  • @drvonhoss if you oil your bearings with some wd 40 they should not rust :)

  • @drvonhoss there is a type of military greese that you can buy and they use it for their offroad heavy duty vehicles in the army and it works great on my friends truck.

  • @drvonhoss How did you waterproof the ESC?

  • @drvonhoss plasti-dip works wonders!! buy servo leads, and mount them in

  • Poor truck ;)

  • @Raydee LOL! The truck loves it! Doing this really cleans out the bearings.. hehe.

  • KKKOOOOOOLLLLL !!! , did u try it with paddle tires ??

  • @JoziebeeA great idea! Awesome video
