  • Good competitors in math contests xD

  • Muhammad was a faggot. This video, however, rules.

  • @billhicksisdead Insulting religious figures is inherently witty and clever.

  • @billhicksisdead Really? Did he actually tell you that he is gay? Interesting... Moron.

  • What happens at high noon?

  • This was mentioned in the Holy Quran 1400 years ago to the prophet Muhammad who could not read or write. Along with over 1000 other scientific miracles.

  • @moey78612 bwahahahaha

  • @moey78612 dude...come up with something better than that! what a whiner!

  • @plantneem4gud It is really funny how you called moey78612 a whiner when all he did is comment about his belief, then you whined about him commenting... Very funny indeed, whiner.

  • @YoureSuchADramaQueer do u know wt EVOLUTION is like in HIS book?

  • @moey78612 And 2400 years ago the Greeks discovered and wrote all of it down. The "Holy Qran" is just an Encyclopedia of Greek, Jewish, Persian, Mesopotamian, and all other knowledge that made its way into the middle east, written down in Arab and kitted out with a fancy story on the back cover.

  • Damien have a shower

  • I'd respect bees more if they'd leave me alone and stop making those AWFUL noises.

  • quote: Turn on your cell phone, yes, but not around bees, if you appreciate what they do for the world. That’s the message from Lausanne researcher and bee specialist Daniel Favre, who in April published “Mobile phone-induced honeybee piping” in the bee journal Apidologie. - more on: GenevaLunch COM

  • Some days, I waggle all day long. : )

  • wow, for in the newspaper "spastic bee, mathematics proffesional!"

  • ok there danceing right well heres a song shake your ass watch yourself shake ass show me what ya got lolol

  • Bees know everything they need to know to live to their full potential. Doesn't that make them more intelligent than us in a way? Not being self-aware doesn't mean shit.

  • People underestimate ALL animals because they are not "like us".

We measure intelligence based on knowledge of self and self-awareness, when In fact these creatures are much smarter and more successful at life in other ways we do not fully understand.

They have no need for self-awareness to live to their full potential, you dig? Self awareness can also lead to bad things like mental disorders and depression keep in mind. Humans are selfish D-bags. Bees are the epitome of selflessness.

  • @styxtap We're smarter, we know about bees.

    Mental disorders are just beautifull.

  • People underestimate the animals, but in many ways animals are just amazing! I really think that we humans must learn to respect animals!

  • dude .... how did i get here

  • i still think that ants are the smartest insects

  • I saw this in my linguistic class I found it amazing!

  • Nice video Thanks

  • OMG!

  • bees use calculis and most humans do not know 2+2 if they get any sarter we will no longer bee the dominant species

  • so ganz nebenbei wer mag mit mir zu wirbeln oder so sagt einfach bescheid ja ^^

  • Nature is.. I seriously can't even find a word. That blows my mind.

    Hare Krsna

  • @parkerjwill HAHAHAHAHAAA

  • Do you have the copyright for this video? If so, then may I have your permission to use it for a talk I am giving? Thank you.

  • i can shake my ass like that when i work for the queen xxxx

  • oh my god :O

  • Bees waggle, but they don't fall down !!!!!

  • Couldn't we just tag little micro cameras to their little backs and follow them to see where they go?

  • You will solve the mystery of why all our bees cant find their way home when you STOP THE NSA CFR, NWO, using Chemtrails and with the NWO H.A.A.R.P ELF transmitters which are corrupting the natural 'Electro magnetic field around the earth that BEES and whales, and dolphins, and birds need to tap into to navigate to and from home base. see YT dontpoisonme or HAARP secret weapon. see w w w cleanairandwater . net - The NWO secrets not shared with EPA - also monsanto are to blame

  • @dontpoisonme i knew that "they" were to blame for everything, but that "everything" goes so far, wow! i feel like lisa in simpsons when creationism is introduced and she is bored in school because the answer for everything is: God Did It. carry on!

  • Now if this isnt mericles of Almighty God then what wold it be..

  • @hamzaomarhamzaomar i dont know either

  • imagine these scientists are just wrong. Like the bee is just having some sort of seizure

  • @vkenn10 Rofl.

  • @vkenn10 haha sadly we will never find out.

  • This is your answer to the bee doe off...look for the fiber that is in these pictures... being investigated by the CDC as I write this! Its a killer and when I pulled up google images of bees...this killer was on every single picture!

  • It's a shame they don't mention that they also use the number of waggles to describe the distance to the food.

  • This is GREAT we have a video to increase our top bar hive honey year in the running for $5,000 grant from Pepsi but we need your VOTES... please vote every day! search for No Bees No Food at refresheverything dit com

  • Yahuwah's creation is amazing!!!!!!!

  • So bees are geometry experts?

  • They may very well bee. Seriously, they may use Geometry but to the extent that we do. You may know that if something is 4 for a dollar, then one is 25 cents. You just did Algebra and you may not know anything about the formal subject and it'd be a far cry to call you an expert just because you can do simple Algebraic calculations.

  • "And your Lord taught the honey bee to build its cells in hills, on trees, and in (men's) habitations; Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought"

  • yaaaa I have a midterm tmrw and I still have to the tutorial quiz :(

  • yeah thats exactly why im watching this

  • lawls. i am

  • That's cute! I love their little dance. :):)

  • Is this true?

  • holy son of god... that was math in bio

  • They did an experiment with bees on cocaine and found the the coked out bees waggle more then the non coked bees. Go figure!

  • hahaha I just learned that in evolutionary bio today, so i decided to look up the waggle dance.

  • perfect creations of the Creator

  • there is no creator.

bees are arthropods that have developed from a distinct ancestor. they've evolved and adapted to their environments accordingly. Which makes them their own species.

  • Yes there is.

  • Amen!

  • soo many draenei...

  • Fascinating to see such things.

  • I got a chance to do the Waggle Dance to a different teacher than my science teacher for extra credit xD

  • I saw a honey bee doing the waggle dance while still on a flower. So what does that mean? Was he just orienting himself prior to flying back to the hive?

  • yup, sometimes they practice to make sure they have it down before heading back to tell the others. =]

  • Is that Richmond the goth from The IT Crowd narrating?

  • I KNOW, it sounds just like him!

  • AHAHAHAHAHA omg noel fielding would narrate this

  • Truely awesome, read about it on wikipedia and headed straight here to see it with my own eyes.

I'm gonna learn the waggle dance..

  • Awesome! My family are hoping to get some, one day. Thanks for the video, I loved it! =)

  • That was really Interesting. No kidding.

  • Von Frisch once commented that he wondered how this "language" evolved in bees. So cool.

  • Wow, if that is true then this is one of the quirkiest, funniest, and most innovative way to communicate.

  • tera1320 cyberpunk extrodinaire

  • Spelling BEE?

    More like Math bee.

  • The bees brain is 1 billion times smaller then the human

  • Comment removed

  • That is not correct. Insects DO have nervous systems! It is not as complex as our own, but it is definately present. It is made up of a brain and a central nervous cord made of a collection of nerves that are distributed through the body of the insect.

  • Insects have nervous systems. Google and see.

  • fuck ya!!!! bees are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • good respone! bees are awesome

  • Really useful video!

  • This is crazy...............

  • amazing :-o

  • Omg those bees know more mathematics then me! Damn!

  • I was flipping through my text book reading random stuff when I saw the waggle dance and I couldn't help but to look it up. That's pretty amazing how they communicate like that.

  • How do it know?

  • They know because they have highly evolved brains and use complex language built around communication systems that are different from our own. We have the misconception that because they are tiny, they are not intelligent.

  • Wow. Bees are better at math than most of my high school classmates as far as this video is concerned.

  • @Aoitetsugakusha Damn, the bees should take the SAT test (college entrance, for the foreigners).

  • Thats actually amazing, ive only ever heard of this before, never actually seen it

  • he says dunce lol ahhhaha

  • that's why they don't fly during the night..

  • I read about this controversial theory in a biology book years ago!

  • rstar2008, that "controversial theory" is now a well documented, proven scientific fact.

  • Bees also have developed a method of telling other bees how much ketchup they should bring back to the hive, because it is one of their favorite foods. In fact before it was discovered that they made honey, honeybees were known as "ketchup flies" or "ketchup bees." Young boys on the Oregon Trail would keep these insects as pets because they were easy to take care of, only requiring a little bit of mashed tomatoes to keep them going for a few days. Way easier to take care of than a dog.

  • The waggle dance was discovered by German Nobel Laureate Karl von Frisch. He also proved that bees orient themselves by atmospheric polarized light.

  • What if the sun's directly over the bees?

  • then the dance cannot be performed

  • The waggle dance is really cool and fun to say! OMG!!!!!!

  • Honeybee waggle dancing is so freaken cute! I once saw a bunch of bees in a display case at a museum with one worker waggling her heart out. None of the other bees were even paying attention! I guess they already knew about the food source and she shouldn't have bothered to dance.

  • I LOVE BEES! SAVE THE HONEY BEES! Buy Haagen dazz HONEY BEE ICE CREAM, DONATE TO SAVE THE BEES, OR PLANT FLOWERS THAT THEY LIKE! KEEP A HIVE AT YOUR BACKYARD! ANYTHING! :)

  • yes and once you have a hive there so easy to take care of!! just give the bees a proper food source like a garden or flowers and keep pesticides away and your all set. the colony collapse disorder seems to be caused by pesticides and poisons and bayer has just got in trouble in germany for destroying 1/3 of the bee supply so pesticides and poisons are a great source of death for bees. save the honey bees!!! dont use pesticides, use natural pesticides like spiders, lady bugs, natural plant oils.

  • That's really smart. I didn't realize they did that.

  • honey-bees are cute (and very loyal), just don't get nervous or make sudden irratic moves...

  • Honeybees aren't like Wasps/Hornets or Bumblebees, they don't have time for stinging people, they're very hard working & amazing insects as the video describes.

  • Yeah, I agree jonusvorhees. I have never in my life seen a honey bee get aggressive. If they do, it's very, very rare.

  • yea thats soo true! i have a hive of my own and they are completly harmless, i have them land on me in the summer time and they bask in the sun and i let them crawl on my hands, they are way to busy to sting, they know lifes valuable so its better to stay alive and work then to die by stinging. i have got stung but thats because i was opening the hive so i started the trouble by being a "predator" to them so i deserved it lol, most of the time its only one iirrate bee and then your ok .

  • wow.

    their smart.

  • Amazing !

Austrian ethologist Karl von Frisch was one of the first who translated the meaning of the waggle dance.

  • Oh man i love bees, they're such little tough guys, ANYTHING FOR THE COLONY!!! lol

  • Amazing. I know some adult humans who can't tell their right from their left, but apparently a bee can do it. And they're better than us at geometry too it seems...

  • i think this shows that other animals have a certain level of intellegence

  • I think the real meaning is like, hey babes... look at my ass shaking... they get hypnotized, and...

    I GOTTA GO...................

  • True dat.

  • I couldn't do that. Bees are smarter than me.

  • why would you shake your butt as communication, weird

  • At least the sun's azimuth is mentioned...c'mon better video...

  • Sooo where is the flight? I don't see they are flying to shown directions.

  • I bet they all got a real buzz out of that.

    ...I'm all done.

  • HA HA HA Laughing unsarcastically.

  • Oh Bee-Hive!

(I spent a while looking for a suitable bee video to make that appalling pun XD)

  • This is amazing. Holy shit.

  • There should be a Bee dance music video!

  • Set it to 'Gonna make you sweat(Everybody dance now)'

  • fascinating!
