I have been making videos for 4 years! And for the past 2 on my old channels i had great content! And I went nowhere! You can have great stuff in the world! But you need to get shout outs and be featured and stuff like that because if you don't then your talent is going nowhere! I have been in video production for a long time and i love it even with 0 subscribers and i spent a good 6+ hours on my videos and i nearly post once a day! All in 1080P the only thing i am featured on is this channel.

and sure even if u are not shouted out or something, if u truely are good and u diserve the subers they will come, shout outs in the long run means nothing because they sub because of YOU not the person shouting u out because in the end no matter if u get lots of shout outs or non u will end up with the same amount just that if you get shout outs you'll get them faster.

Do you really think I would have this many subs in JUST a month and a half without being featured on a few channels?? No. You can be good and still get nothing, but once your name gets out there...that's where your subs come from.

@TheMinecraftHub maybe not mouthes maybe even years it is like what happen with hutch it took him a little over a year to even really get notice i mean now and days people get shout outs left and right at this point it is very comon. people just think that because they aren't getting much subs they aren't good so they give up. and those are the reson stories from rise out of no were are so rare but they don't have to be rare because it might not look like you are going anywhere...

@dx8master Most of that was confusing with grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors, but I understand what you are saying. I agree that there are many people who throw in the towel after a few weeks just because they feel let down. To me YouTube is not just a "phase" I am going through. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time. I love reaching out to others and sharing interests with people who have the same passion about gaming and having a good time.

I also reply to everyone and I start random conversations and I host a server for some of them because you know I can’t hold everyone :( but what I’m saying is I have tried to get my channel up and going asking people to come have fun on my wonderful journey aka dual coms and stuff but they say no! haha. I also think that subscribers are important because, you can have fun while making videos but it does suck talking to know one, that’s why I box random people ahaha :) Oh well have a good time:)

@capturedHD EXACTLY! You can have the best content on YouTube, but without people supporting you and getting your name out there you won't gain a single friend or subscriber. That's exactly the point. Shout outs aren't necessary if you get lucky with having a featured video or something like that. If a larger named person "favorites" your video you may get noticed too.
