  • @duquetteroxx the midi question isn't about the hardware, it's the software. serato n traktor do not show the faders on the screen, however if you were to use serato itch w the bridge software, and you have the ttm-57 or 58, it will record your fader movements in ableton live. the question in wondering is why do you want a display of the faders on the screen?

  • genius

  • do you also see, that he cut cut's (2:30)? thats no "skill". ok, it sounds incredible but its nothing special to use finish cuts and cut them. i think he is good, but he use the wrong hardware.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • I respect Dj I-DEE's Turntablist Skills. He makes the NS-7 Look Real good with his background using Technics 1200's originally. He basically applied what he knew as a Vinyl Battle DJ and applied it using the NS-7. The easy parts for him was cueing and set points. Thats where u see him pressing all the buttons.

Id personally Prefer my Technics 1200's any day, for the real deal battling. But I must admit this was pretty kool to see an NS-7 doing simulating an artform made decades ago. Real Kool

  • track list ?

  • awesome

  • i love DJ.i want to be a DJ

  • I'm still a vinyl guy.

  • @MoChua Classic

  • I DO HAVE A NUMARK A NS7 AND THERE ARE PROBLEMS SUCH AS FREEZING BUT OTHER THAN THAT ITS DOPE

  • best part @ 4:00

  • no headphones ...impressive...

  • or this on no computer just skillz DMC World 1995 DJ Roc Raider (USA) R.I.P or Dj Q-Bert 1991 DMC Championship

  • real disappointing watching this need to go back to old school , watch NINJA B VS VANGUARD 1993 NMS SUPREMACY DJ BATTLE

  • check this --> watch?v=xZRog8XJdh8&feature=related

(not my channel, but amazing DJ)

  • you people are all dumb fucks. That scratching is part of the song. Its not a pre recorded track. All you bedroom djs need to learn ur shit and stop criticizing someone who is a dmc champion. Fucking retards.

  • song at 3:33? when hesays "the future is now"

  • @TheRazorback13

    sample of Pendulum - Slam

  • Comment removed

  • How the fuck you gonna have a dj battle with digital decks fuck that you got to go old school if you wanna scratch and be true to the art

  • Comment removed

  • This is a terrible measure of any DJ's mixing ability! If this is the 'future' then get me a time machine cos I don't think I can handle it!!

  • I can recomend NS7's and they do use them in clubs. . Its all part of evolution. However still a great fan of all other media :-)

  • @fsl001 Thanks for the love!

  • Name of the song 1:35 please ?

  • Comment removed

  • @jeffhardy123ify

"MVP" by Ludacris off his album "Theater of the Mind."

  • What the f@#k has happened to the DMC's??? No offence to the DJ but if this is the standard of what dmc camp is then curse the digital age. look back to when Craze and Dexter were battling and you'll see what a real dmc champ sounds like.

Pre recorded scratches in a dmc comp? What the hell has happened to the world.

    peace

  • 2:24 - 3:15 suckkd but the rest was dope

  • Iv spun with both Technic 1200 mk5s which I still own, and cdj 1000 mk3's which I have sold. Nothing feels quite like an actual set of tables... On the other hand I am also deployed and needed something closer to the tables and these I can say are both compact and have that Technic feel, I must say I AM VERY SURPRISED... love me but will def go back to my technics after :)

  • you nighas don't kno real talent when you see it ... PSHHHHH !

  • Are the majority of DJ's turning into old men afraid of new tech? Long live the horse drawn carriage, Cars are whack! That's what you guys sound like =p

  • lol i recognize one song from motorstorm 1

  • @jommr44 What Song?

  • @XxXNoRegretzXxX the fourth one in which where the guy is telling the future is now

  • he looks like a right dumb cunt in that cap he is trying to be cool dumb fuck ................. numark would of paid him for this numark are a shit this shit he is using is a waist of money

  • @corfox011 you dont need no expensive equipment to be a great dj... as long as you know what your doing thats all that matters and if it sounds good then good but you dont need to be flaming on numark and say there shit.... hav u had any experience with numark products..

  • @jammedfinga first i have used numark mixers they break easy the fader fucks up they are cheeply made i no people who had them aswell and they fucked up fast i rather buy a proper mixer that cost more that can do more stuff than a numark mixer and can last longer and looks stronger numark looks like a toy.......so yeah pioneer and alien and health the best ....i aint no fan boy just saying.........

  • @jammedfinga you need expensive gear to do club mixing a numark mixer would never be used in a top club if you wanna do club mixing u need a great mixer not a numark .....if u wanna do home mixing only then numark for u.........numark focas on home dj only look at the ns7 would u see that in a top night club no way .try a pro mixer vs a numark you will see the big difronts better sound quilty stronger more stuff to do and more control.....

  • @corfox011 - Wrong. I've seen the NS7 used not only in clubs, but at festivals as well. Everyone is going the digital route now. Hell, even those using CDJ-1000s and 2000s are using Serato setups in clubs because people are tired of lugging around CDs and vinyls.

Digital is the future. I'll still use my 1000s with pride, but eventually I'm gonna need to learn Scratch Live.

  • @ITGLink i did not say anything about digital being bad i use digtial my self but no one would use ns7 in big clubs or in the hardcore gabba scene if you saw the ns7 being used in a club it would be a shitty club and not a big club if you saw the ns7 being used at festivals it would be a shitty festivals no one would use the ns7 in a big club or a big festivals how ever i no most big dj's use serato now with the cdjs and djm.....pioneer and alien & health are the bigest brands more comman

  • @ITGLink of course you would see Denon in clubs but no one would use a ns7 in a big club no way so the club u saw them using ns7 in would be a shitty club thats a fact

  • the ns7 beats the ns6 in scratching :P

  • @ingloreusemodz how when both the ns6 and ns7's resolution are the same? 3600....

  • @sparta9330 Because I have used both and i'm saying :P

  • 5:08 just blew my mind. i cant believe how far controllers have come

  • nvm i figured it out . i think it was rage against the machine

  • @whatakid1 Killing in the name of! UH!!

  • @whatakid1 thats right, Rage against the machine - killing in the name

  • Does anyone know the song he used at 5:36 ?

  • 5 more years and it will be hard to make any argument between digital and vinyl.

  • So the NS7 has a rotating motor...1200, same....most dj's use a laptop and program to take a signal from said unit and power the mp3's same...still have to be talented...same...the argument is moot. I used 1200's forever and guess what...i switched to an NS7, best thing ever...no more heavy carrying, no more bent, broken or scratched records, buying needles here and there wasting more money, etc...I know hundreds of the shittiest dj's on earth and they use technics...so it doesn't make um better

  • @djxman505 for example dj pauly D...nuff said..smh

  • I need this in HQ any ideas ?

  • First of all, all of you bedroom DJs need to stop criticizing every little part of this routine... the routine was good. Secondly, stop with all this "real DJs use vinyl" elitist bulls**t. If you don't embrace new technology then it's time to hang up your headphones you f**king dinosaurs! Name one big name DJ still using strictly vinyl... ONE!

  • to much Scratch

  • well any idiot that states DIGITAL TABLES SHOULD BE IN ANY BATTLE??? aint a real dj!!!!!!!!! only some punkass emo techno cyber bitch who couldnt do anything on real vinyl in first place!! I HOPE DMC crumbles for this wack ass move!! there is no skill required now, just some stupid muthafucker pushin fx button and lookin like some RETARD on stage like he's really doin somethin for real! iam all for technology, but in real dj battle? anybody with pre-fab sets aint creative.especially live!!!

  • @ozulu45 he is doing one click - two click orbits, transformers, crabs, drags, drops, and scribbles....thats skill, real vinyl is beautiful and better than midi controllers..but not "any idiot" can do what he did on digital tables...DT's only help in beatlocking and giving you cues, DT's DONT help in scratching, they dont help in what song you wanna play next and they damn sure don't help with creativity each Dj brings to the tables, Dj Jazzy Jeff use's serato, does that make him a fake dj? nope

  • @TheSolChild i agree but midis are used for djn not for this i think he used it more for clicks than he did for scratch some guys are good with this scratchn all i do is njoy and dance if posible ......

  • @TheSolChild I AGREE I AGREE I AGREE! I remember when people started using cd decks about 10 years ago and they got the slagging of a lifetime for doing it. NOW look! You cant cheat your way to class. You either got it or you AINT.

  • @TheSolChild I remember trying to scratch on Techniques back in the day but I would make the needle skip or jump... wouldn't DT eliminate that for people with heavy hands or who are heavy handed when scratching?

  • @TheSolChild Spot on.

  • All of u dumb fucks think he used this in comp. This is a fucking demo u retards. Numark is just showing off their shit. And digital turn tables are the shit and the future bitches

  • HAHA! wow he really used this piece of crap at dmc... i wonder how much numark paid him for that..

I hope it was worth all the humiliation and DJ's Laughing at his ass.. haha!

  • idiota..........

  • Please teach me because I suck

  • @asdfghjkll62 if your some booger pickin pimple face white kid? forget it! your a rhythmless loser like the rest of these cyber faggets!

  • Not sure if alot of people posting in here realize this, but DJ I-Dee is a former DMC champ, he was just doing an expo for the Numark. Also i started on 1200s in 2k, and switch over to the V7 and X5 in 2010 and never looked back.

  • i aint the best dj but this nigga was just fucking around with anything -.-....he can scratch pretty good but his choice of music was a bit out of line nd didnt all go together too good

  • ns7 deff not @ dmc or clubs used 4 in n out of partys or bar gigs quick n easy totally cool. no broken needles worn records yeah thats cool.

  • If Your A DJ you need to be able to jam out and dance and there wasss waaaaaayyyyyyyyy to much scrathing goin' on there.

  • @BenjiArtJedi thats because its a scratching competition

  • and the nirvana part as well...ick..just got to that part lol

  • idk i cant hate i think he was killin it from bout 3:50 to 5:40 ishh do ur thang jangalang...and next time leave out the rage against the machine part too..

  • CROWD SUCK FUCK THE CROWD MAN SHIT SO LAME LAMEST CORWED EVER

  • poor guy. no love from the crowd. maybe it's cause he using prerecorded scratching in some tracks.. probably has something to do with it. oh and he's asking for cheers. usually a sign of pure talent and humbleness

  • dj will never look cool with a laptop RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. move that shit to the side, your performing, not checking emails...

  • 3:16 no cheers for you....

  • this guy is awsome! I am thinking of getting a NS6 as my first set of turntables.

  • what the name of the song that he scratches to @4:00

  • @mastermansur slam by pendulum

  • my ns7 is the shit!

  • WOW....he used a track with pre recorded scratches and ques...at DMC...and forget his disregard of tempo or rhythm. FAIL

  • @eclipsepb45 i agree he was good but not dmc worthy

  • Comment removed

  • @eclipsepb45 true but not a fail, 2:37 his juggle is a dope

  • i like this, but im sticking to technics.

  • i've been dj'ing forever,i tried the ns7 and loved it,been sprung ever since. just can't decide on the ns7 or the v7, trust me don't knock it,til you try it. REAL TALK

  • R.I.P DMC...

  • @Sanderfre LOL you people are so afraid of change. Grow up.

  • Midi Controllers feel's so unreal, but this thing is surpassingly good.

  • not even rythmic. Gets anoyying after like 30 seconds.

  • i think its kinda stupid that he uses a track thats already has scratching samples on it .... lol

  • what i hate is these old skool kats that cant keep up with Technology. you might as well make music with rocks and wood.

  • @willieroman I feel you,i've been dj'ing over 25 yrs,and i constantly stay in tuned to the new shit, but its hard as hell to get some of my longtime dj peers,to be open to new technology. i had the vestax itch, and even that little mofo is the shit, but it was'nt durable enough for me,but felt better than u could ever imagine

  • I Agree!!! never compare de old school!!! Technics Rules!!! NS7 is a very cool tool but steel shortest the real vinyl!!!

  • i love when people say numark suck when they have always been the leader of the industry and pioneer mimicked there CDJ's after numarks ideas then made them with all plastic oppose to real metal like Numark products.

  • Serato *ITCH*

  • pendulum slam :D

  • which program he used in this video, traktor or serato?

  • A few nodding heads, but no-one really going crazy and waving their hands despite the popular tunes being played... I think if you put JFB in front of that NS7, you'd've got a better crowd reaction... meh, just my opinion.

  • First half great, from rage on...a lil over kill. I love how everyone talks so much shit but they don't realize who was in the DMC Championship and who is just watching it on youtube. lol fuck them, keep up the good work!

  • its all about the dj... a good dj can make any product he/she uses whether it be a controller or tables and make their mix sound amazing... although in a battle or competition i believe in only using vinyl... but yea for an exhibition use watever works... the ns7 is great for mobile djs like myself.. jus plug and play...

  • Shitty shitty product , dope dj though as I've seen him before..... Technics 1210 please !!

  • yall guys and gals dont understand things advance

  • Dude you need some practice!!!!badly!!!!

  • I love the NS7. But the question is, when will every snobby CDJ club in the world start letting us use controllers? We're all just playing music. Vinyl, CDJs, and controllers all have the same outcome! I'm also a drummer, and I've never seen another drummer be turned away from playing a club because of the kind of kit he plays...and we're actually making our own music, not playing someone else's.

  • @ ifartalotandsuckdik, you can find'm on ebay for about $1,200.00

    Such a sick system

  • how much u think that equipment is?

  • Dj Lame !!! Fake Face Expressions 2

  • I like DJ I-DEE but I don't think he did any justice with this NS7, its a Superb Equipment. His body language was just office. His got some killer routines, this performance was awful! For someone that was getting paid to showcase, he looked like he didn't want to!

  • You can push buttons all day long, U still need skillz... its not just pushing play, I have technics and love em.. ive tried the ns7 out and its dope..

  • this is what dmc has come too????? dmc lost all my respect for them for allowing any digital manipulation equipment touch the stage...what ever happen to showing your skillz with real vinyls??? i can push buttons too.... smh

  • wait a min he doesnt havnt headphones? wtf??

  • This shit its just whack...

    - LONG LIVE THE TECHNICS!

  • @PravoslavaCccc Have you tried the NS7FX or V7 yet? You might be surprised.

  • @NumarkVideo yes and its software giving us pc user hard times ....

  • @NumarkVideo Tell him again. A proud NS7 owner. These dudes don't know what they're missing......

  • @NumarkVideo Completely agree.@PravoslavaCccc don't knock it till you try it. "TECHNICS", as you put them, may have an edge in areas for you and many others(myself included) BUT the thin line between analogue and digital is fading so unless you know for sure quit hating and enjoy the music...as for me i can say that the ns7 feels awesome and its WAY easier to move with. This is one great machine NUMARK.

  • @NumarkVideo ive tried both and honestly id rather use a pair of technics or pioneer cdj's im ok with vinyl and CD i think theyre both good if you know what you are doing :) just my opinion

  • @PravoslavaCccc get with the program you moron.

  • @PravoslavaCccc

Plus 1 on that !!! ,Numark SUCK !!

Technics / vestax / pioneer .....Numark products look and sound like some shit you win from a craker at Christmas

  • @PravoslavaCccc dude, dont blame the gear, but yea its wack

  • @PravoslavaCccc You dont know shit. I bet you dont even DJ you freaking goon you.

  • @PravoslavaCccc the game is changing bro, same feelings - i remeber when people started using CDJs

  • @PravoslavaCccc yea long live technics but this is a good ass controller its fucken good better thn other numark products

  • @PravoslavaCccc We all gotta evolve someday :p

  • @PravoslavaCccc I agree it's never final for the vinyl, but the ns7 and v7 has greatly changed digital dj-ing.

  • WHACK

  • all i cud say is WOW he baddd

  • I've used Technic 1200's for 14 years and Serato Scratch Live for the last 5 years. What do you think the learning curve would be for me if I got this system. I have to put least stress as possible on my bad back for mobile gigs so thats why Im interested in this

  • Someone needs to learn about 4/4

  • fucking suckssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • i tried one of these at guitar center and im in love

  • 8:03 alligator hands attack bottom of the screen lol

  • Nice set dude!

Anyone who says badly about your set or the NS7 is living in the past. Sort of reminds me when people talk trash about import cars versus American muscle cars... I've had both classic muscle cars, and import cars (not riced out though) and both vinyl and the NS7... they all serve a purpose! Maybe a weird comparison, but new technology with this much accuracy and coolness to it... it's not meant to insult or replace vinyl... it's just a fat digital rig, nothing more!

  • The Future Is NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I AM GETTING ME ONE OF THESE ASAP.

  • Comment removed

  • Numark has stepped up their game with the NS7 - finally proving that they are a force to be reckoned with. My home setup includes Technics SL-1200M3D turntables, Vestax 05 proIII modified with InnoFader crossfaders, MacBook Pro and Serato Scratch LIVE. With that said, I can honestly switch from my home setup to the Numark NS7 and barely tell the difference. I think the NS7 is a remarkable piece of equipment. I am currently saving up to buy an NS7 for my girl who's learning to mix, cut and juggle

  • dope as shit!!!

  • wow i just noticed when from the beginning you skip later in the video when it does that spinny thing to show you when its loading you press the up, down, left ,right arrow quickly you randomnly start playing a snake game while the video is playing

  • just isnt as cool.

  • yeah what happened to steam engines and turn crank cars o yeah times change stuff gets better ya'll sound like your parents goo stuff man

  • I got to ay he did amazing for the quality of his equipment

the crowd shud hav been showing him more respect bc i dont see any of them up on that stage

  • 46 dislikes = 46 HATERS

When you upload your vid from DMC Championships, then you can compare and talk all the smack you want!

Bitching about new technology and how old ways were better is like bitching about pro sports and how in the old days people played for the love of the game, not money... and how sports were better in the old days with out supplements and steroids.

I will agree - crowd was weak.

  • that crowd sucks

  • 1:40 - 3:40 was sick and a bad ass song!!

  • this idiot was on dmc hahahaah

  • nice nice man.....

  • This should be e -legal!!! what happened to the good old 2 turntables and a mixer!!shame on you DMC championship!! shame on you

  • @Djarcdegree mmm technological advancements...

  • @Djarcdegree it's not difficult to make the songs fit together, it's difficult to choose the right songs and make the crowd cheering!! so if you CAN dj or not is a matter of talent and skills, not of equipment!!

(hope you could understand my english, because i'm german)

  • This dude doesn't suck but in a sense he does. Where jazzy Jeff at.. Demolish his ass

  • song at 7:32 ?

  • Damn Idee, you've got some some weight huh

  • doesnt sound good at all :/

  • Listen. When someone like I-Dee says these are legit then these are legit. End of story. Know why? Because this guy can make you look like a bitch on real wax, on CDs, on whatever. If not put up your videos and we'll see.

  • im getting these soon

  • Did anyone notice shadow puppets at 8:03-8:06 ??

  • dude... this looks like some playskool stuff. i wish technics would come back.

  • @hummurabi2010 im sorry but i had my hands on a pair yesterday there amazing i feel inlove with them

  • the scratching from 1:34-1:54 wasnt even live, was that from the sample?

  • @snubbs741 The scratching is by Dj Premier on Ludacris' song MVP

  • this is pre-edited shit man .. not pure DMC!!

  • Whack... Not DMC Championship material.

  • KILLING IN THE NAME OF!!!

  • whats the track at 4:00?

  • @kobyc1 slam by pendulum

  • good but idk too mch scratchin let the track play

  • I love how the PROS make it look so SIMPLE!!......Good Stuff Bro!!

  • WEAKEST CROUD EVER
