  • how far down the trail did you go? I only went as far as Tunnel Falls.

  • beautiful!

  • Very nice job with this video! I must admit, I usually hate music with videos, but in this case, it was a perfect match!

I'm set on hiking this trail this summer, and after watching your video, there's no doubt!

Question: Are there any good camping spots past the waterfall?

  • can you camp over night there?

  • Yes, but only past the Hatfield Wilderness Boundry. And bring appropriate food supplies, because there are no campfires allowed from June 1 to September 15. I've seen people break this law, and I hope they get caught and fined.

  • One of the best hikes in Oregon!

  • where's this place at?

  • It's in Bonneville, OR. You go by the fish hatchery, then you take a right, I think. Then you'll find the Eagle Creek area.

  • From Portland, take Hwy 84 East, Exit 41, which is one exit east of Bonneville Dam. There is a $5 parking fee, but the good thing is the parking lot is monitored. The trailhead begins 1/4 mile past the lot. Or, if you are already hiking in the Eagle Creek Watershed, watch for Eagle Creek Trail #440. Note: be prepared--there are no "rest stops" or water fountains along this trail. I take a water purifier bottle with me.
