Like all cities, they are split into their areas, South and West London are shit holes, North and East aren't.

You have places like Harrods, The Ritz, Hamleys, Fortune and Mason, Harvey Nichols, Liberty, Heal's, Selfridges, Carluccio's etc. which are all world famous stores and restaurants that cost an arm and a leg. Most of the buildings are hundreds of years old, being parts of history in themselves.
