  • dancing in my chair... loved music of this era.

  • I always loved this song. It's a great song. The fact that this is a native american group is of no concern. It's a great song.

  • I remember this song with sentimental thoughts. I remember seeing them on American Bandstand with Dick Clark in 1973 or 74 when I was starting Jr. High. I've always loved this song and is a great memory from the 1970's! Whatever happened to them?? It's like they disappeared from the scene by 1975 or 76.

  • I want to see if anyone out there can remember the elementary school in PA that Redbone performed at in the 70's. (sorry typo)

  • I want to see if anyone out there can remeber the elementary school in PA that Redone performed at in the 70's.

  • I was a senior in highschool when this song came out. In fact I still have this on 45. In case the younger generation doesn't know what that is.....it looks like a compact disc that only plays one song on each side. I always knew they were a native american band. My boyfriend at the time was Kiowa Indian, I was a skinny black teenager with a big red afro. We both learned alot about each

others cultures.......But, mostly we were just teenagers having fun :)

  • Thats My Dad and Uncle=) They Were Amazing!

  • @vegassarah ,,what part of oklahoma are ya'll fromm and do they still play concerts oh yeah what tribe

  • @vegassarah Which one is your dad?

  • @vegassarah Yeah they were.AWSUM DANG GROUP.

  • @vegassarah awesome

  • @vegassarah Your Dad and Uncle were amazing musicians. You should be proud. Born too late to see them live but wish I could have.

  • @vegassarah How lucky are you. Something to be proud of, A fine example of true Americans. I grew listening these guys never knowing their heritage not that it matters, but nice to no.... Music I will always cherish.

  • @vegassarah They are still amazing...my cousin just lost her father...my uncle...and he loved this song and I just sent this to her...brings back so many awesome memories...I'm a still jammin girl and I have turned my 19 yr old to every genre of music...this has to be one of my happiest memories of my childhood...I was 10 when this came out I believe....sending you and your family light and love...and they sent it my way!..:D

  • @vegassarah Btw, doll...isn't your dad the first Native American to hit the top ten?...I think so...and also, I love the native jewlery they are wearing...I hope they are passing it down to you!...My guy has bought me such beautiful stuff from Sedona, AZ....I'm mexican, from the aztec tribe...and I love native jewlery...plus I'm an old hippy...my place full of crystals, candles, insense....You should be very proud of your dad...and I'm sure you are groovy in your own right!.blessings again xo

  • I remember being a free and easy kid watching this on American Bandstand. Man, what a cool memory. LIfe was so much funbeing a 1970s kid - trust me.

  • VERY COOL SONG FROM THE 70'S !!!

  • if you ain't groovin by 3:17 you are a dead man reading this.

  • ROCKONYHEBUDDY

  • These guys were Mexican too. I'm half Mexican and I think this song is great!

  • @insanelylogical There are all native native american's .... mexican my ass.

  • @MdNgtRyder , The lead singer was Lolly Vasquez, who had a Mexican-American father and and a Native American mother. The other band members were also half Mexican-American and mixed with Native American. You're going to feel like a real idiot once you find out the truth, lmao.

  • I really like the violins in the background as a compliment to the guitars.

  • That bass player now plays for Blackfoot.

  • This prove that Native-Americans can rock like everyone else. Nice job, guys!

  • they are from Fresno. :)

  • Cool Song, no matter who made it. It's got a lotta soul!

  • this is a great song with a native american beat. its soo sad what happend to them years ago. its a shame

  • This songs needs to be the Native American National anthem. Come and get your love_ Red bone is not a mixed breed but describes the Indian Winny. Rub it you want to

  • What surprises me is not that Rebone was an American Indian group, but there were no more Native American groups... If you know of some, please send me their vids...

  • This song reminds me of smoking pot and drinking bear during the summer in Cold Spring Harbor with my friends decades ago.

  • LOVE THIS MOTHERSFUCKERS THE BEST

  • Kids, GET A ROOM. This is REDBONES page. REMEMBER??????

    STUPID FUCKS.

  • Kids, GET A ROOM. This is REDBONES page. REMEMBER??????

  • This is an awesome song

  • My cousin Beppo sung this at Kareoke last night. He was so happy to sing a song...we haven't let him out off the shed in our back yard for 2 years now. The mic was wireless...so he ran thru the crowd and stuck his hand down the waitresses top and yelled Cum get yoru Love and da bouncer kicked his ass. Poor Beppo! Oh well, back to the shed!

  • @chefshitpiece Check the shed again, darling. I let him out again last night. He tried the same shit with me and now he's ornament on my back door. I warned him.

  • @blueforyou2 How do youse do that thing youse do with the one and da two and da three and da four!!! Dont let Beppo outta that shed, you silly-soldier!!! Jeezus-creepus-sleezus...do youse know the trouble I went thru to get him outta the Saspirilla tree he climbed up!? He was fannin hisbig honkin' nutz at our Auntie...and she got pissed and hit him with the graden hose!!! You meanie!!! Poor Beppo! I hope a big stinky gorilla grabs youse by the ears and farts right in youse face!!!

  • @chefshitpiece Well here we go again. Some folks just can't handle freedom. Somehow this crazy bastard unhitched himself off the door, climbed the roof and stayed perched up there for more than an hour in 110 degree heat! The neighbor's dogs saw him up there and started barking. He got upset and got off the roof, climbed over the fence and, put saltpeter in the dog's water bowl. Now my neighbor is confused why his prize dogs won't mate. He's back in the shed and you owe me for the lock!

  • @blueforyou2 Gnash Gnash BlueForYou Foo-Manchoo!!! I never know how to sail the crazy seas of cheeze with the bee knees if ya please!!! If you see my cousin Beppo up on that roof again you call the special hotline 1-800-GOBEPPO and a highly trained tem of armadillos will roll the fuck up there and tickle his tonsils till he's dyin to head back to the shed for a hearty plate of turnips! Ya forgot to say the magic words BLOB-A-LOB-A-DING-DONG when ya locked the shed!!! Reimbursment: DENIED!!!

  • @chefshitpiece Please do not call the number...its not fuckin real for christsake!

  • @chefshitpiece Duh, like I didn't know that already. I'm a genius on the borderline, not an egghead!

  • @chefshitpiece So you refuse to pay me for the lock, eh. Well, I made a shopping list of things I saw in your backyard when I returned Beppo to the shed. I'm sending my demented son around to collect them. That'll make us even you cheap so and so...

  • @blueforyou2 So THAT'S the wee fellar who with the red mohawk and the bone thru his nose!! Ah, what a lovely time we had eating marshmallow sandwhiches and sipping mahogany bark tea. He kept on jumpig over the fence and slaughtering passers by with his power drill, but aside from the mess he was most congenial. We are planning to take over Africa together. Beppo complimented him on his fantastic hygeine...and I sent them down to Washington to hunt pheasents with semi-automatic weapons! Go Beppo!

  • @chefshitpiece Oh, so that's why he didn't return home last night. I'm a little upset with you because he specfically came over for revenge and to seek retaliation for your refusal to pay for that damn lock, not to have tea and crumpits with you and Beppo! You have to admit though, he is a powerhouse with a drill, eh. As for you taking him to Africa. Request: DENIED!

  • @blueforyou2 Oh my sweet lumpy sausage!!! My little picture perfect muscrat!! I will return the lock at once with a hearty plate of seaweed lingunie and caper suace, with the most delectable little cabbage rools shaped like Joan Rivers before her plastic surgery! HOW the sweet sounds will echo down the hallways of the dank and stinky hallways of the mud-be-splattered and malodorus libraries of the night! How curious it is that time only goes forward...never in reverse! Look out...MARTIANS!!!

  • @chefshitpiece Hey Shitpiece! Where ya been. I've missed ya. My son and I have been kicked out of the house and we wanted to know if we could stay in the shed with Beepo!

  • @blueforyou2 Hello there happy human homo sapiens hoosiers! Ol' Chef SP been real busy working on da theory dat dere no such thing as love. WHo wansa hear it?
