Amateurs... always pour on the side of the glass, not the middle, since the rough way of pouring will decrease the effervescence, and never hold the glass by the bulb(bottom), but always by the stem, so that your fingers don't warm the champagne up... Also, scientific study shows that at 39 degrees F, champagne has the most bubbles, so you can drink it slightly colder than the typical 43degrees F.

israelmonrroy, the foil does not hold the cork in. It would not be strong enough. It can be removed without the cork coming out. You hold onto the cork before you loosen the wire. Which is under the foil.

the video has something very wrong. the most important one. You should never take off D THOMB from THE TOP!Not even to remove the foil, no matter how pro you are never aim it at the people around. Thomb onTop Always with left Hand, right hand looks for the little loop pull it out untwis 61/2times,nowadd presureOnthomb, jerk it left 2 right, now lift it from the table or wher ever it is and tilt it a bit, twist the bottle -Not the top..POP!

Your guest is supposed to be able to read the label at all times. Don't twist the bottle, twist the cork.  It should make no difference, provided you don't crank it off like an overzealous wino.
