Fuck yes, there's nothing like it. To hear this recording, between Miles' early use of the mute, and Sonny's earthy tones -- not to mention the complexity of the peice itself -- it's like a whole chapter of Jazz in just over 5 minutes. One of my favorite recordings of all time, easily.
I think it cover some of the best jazz musician on this album. Even in solo, all those artists are really good.

Because you insulted me in emoticons, I deleted all of your comment and also blocked your account.
I pity that you cannot answer me in words.

I can never get that raw sound Sonny had earlier in his career out of my mind.

Fantastic harmon mute sound! I am not a trumpet player. I wonder if it is OK to call this harmon mute.

Miles Davis used harmon mute in this studio recording for the first time.

@60otaku3: And he removed the stem to give it that unique quality that became an important part of his own sound--and often imitated by others.

For years this was the signature tune of 'Radio Jazz Club', a Saturday afternoon jazz program on Dutch radio, hosted by Michiel de Ruyter.

Too right guys, i love the bit at #t=1m47s where Sonny's signature sound just blazons into the song... smooth as f*ck.
