So my progress is : I've done this 3 times so far, respective totals were 222, 254, and now 293. Gotta shoot for at least 330 next :). Great workout, keep it up!

I did it yesterday for the second time and improved my total bij 35! I got now 294 reps and I want to beat that 300... I think my focus is the burpees, boxjumps, benchdips and the renegade rows. Those can be improved. But as a female I will never beat 409 I think...
Done this workout three times now and I've bettered my original workout by over 30 reps so I pretty pleased with that plus I notice my recovery time is getting better as well.

Then the next 3 with two mins inbetween then the last two with minute inbetween. I hope a fat teen could do that much. Didnt count nutten. jus set timer. Banging House/Club music really HELPS!

Whacky good problem i have is that my arms are growing more than my chest. I try to ignore working my arms but don't have much else to do. Now I know I need to be more endurance oriented but boring to me. Gotta love my Oxygen Machine....for this Foe-oh-nann thang. 53 in Clearwater Florida.

Great workout I got 295 but I used ten pound weights because I don't have 20's still want to improve to 500 before summer ends or maybe 350 with 20's.

Im on round 2 of the program for this year and im hoping to get the time in sub 8 min by the end of this one. I might have to throw this one in one time though just to see how many reps i can get in. @14Zwing Go natural, eat all the organic food that you can. It's the way the body has been kept alive for so many years by living off the Earth. Protein shakes aren't entirely bad, but they're for an extra push to get that extra muscle. I wouldn't say don't eat it but keep natural foods as a main staple for your diet. Have a protein shake as a go-meal, but not as an actual sitting for a meal. And if you're sick, try not to workout, your body needs all the energy it needs in order to recover.
I was also wondering if should do deadlifts the same day as back or should I do them on a storage day when I do legs. Also should I do squats and deadlifts together as one routine.
Hey Jeff - I done the work out. It was tough I only got 285 :( Alot of room for improvement.
It was over pretty quick so I done it again this time I set my stop watch for 30 seconds with a 10 second break. My scores were over half of what they were for the 60 seconds.
I would reccomend people to do a good warm up and stretch, and do a crash course with 10 seconds on and 5 sceond break before doing the 60 seconds......maybe Jeff??

That means i need to add 7 more reps per set to tie you Jeff...
My advice to others, is to try and get as many reps in on the first half as possible, because the last half kicks you butt...
I used the ultra trainer (vie. i-tune touch) one minute for the reps with 20 sec. for resting in between sets. Set to 10 intervals, so there is no lag in between...none stopping burning pain, and i loved it!
now i know a lot of the athlean workouts can be done without machines, but i think its funny when it says at the bottom of the screen that you dont need a lot of fancy equipment when he's surrounded by all that crap.. :P

Could you do a video on working out properly to insure that your muscles are being formed symmetrically? I know plenty of people that workout, that have progressed in their workout routines, but very few that come to mind who have actually received symmetrical gains when their muscles have formed. Too often there are body parts opposite from one side of the body that are bigger than they are on the other side. Your videos are a huge help in my workouts, thank you.
Hey Jeff, whenever I do a leg workout, I almost always do this variation of continuous box jumps I've dubbed "frog jumps." With each landing on the box and on the floor, I bend my knees in a squat motion, hence the way a frog jumps.... kinda. So the only time my legs are extended is in mid-air. Is this a bad thing? I hope not, because it really burns my quads!
The thing that I like about Athlean X is that the cardio is fun. You get a lot ot morons that go down the gym pick up the heaviest weight possible and thing that if they just lift it repeatidily they will look good. They forget that they have to lose fat as well and need to add some tone to themselves. Anyway I am off to see how many I can do of this.

Athlean-X is the best. I have a pretty skinny build but I am ridiculously impressed with my results so far. 5 weeks in. I love it. The food is great too.
Jeff how tall are you? The reason I'm asking is because I'm only 15 and I'm worried that if I work out It will affect my height. Is it true? BTW I'm a male.
@TheAikido007 working doesn't affect your height unless you doin strenous exercises that put weight on your spine. Such as heavy shoulder presses & squats. But you don't have to worry about that. It will promote growth because your young & it will release testosterone that will make u bigger, stronger, taller :)
@TheAikido007 To be honest mate working out isnt going to influence your height, unless you're squatting, deadlifting with a very heavy weight. I started working out when i was 14/15, but i didnt start deadlifting till i was 17, just be selective with the exercises you do. For the first 6 months or so it might be best just to stick to bodyweight routines and circuit training until you are 16.
@TheAikido007 It's a stupid myth which is not true,you're height will not get stunted unless you get injured suverely which is very unlikely :) have fun.
@TheAikido007 It's not true from what I know I have about 100 pounds of muscle and I'm 6'2 and am only 16. I am not speaking only from personal outcomes I have also done some research on it. Waiting for Jeff to reply will also be helpful because he has a better understanding of how muscle affects the body than I do.

Could you do a video on working out properly to insure that your muscles are being formed symmetrically? I know plenty of people that workout, that have progressed in their workout routines, but very few that come to mind who have actually received symmetrical gains when their muscles have formed. Too often there are body parts opposite from one side of the body that are bigger than they are on the other side. Your videos are a huge help in my workouts, thank you.

Hey Jeff, whenever I do a leg workout, I almost always do this variation of continuous box jumps I've dubbed "frog jumps." With each landing on the box and on the floor, I bend my knees in a squat motion, hence the way a frog jumps.... kinda. So the only time my legs are extended is in mid-air. Is this a bad thing? I hope not, because it really burns my quads!

The thing that I like about Athlean X is that the cardio is fun. You get a lot ot morons that go down the gym pick up the heaviest weight possible and thing that if they just lift it repeatidily they will look good. They forget that they have to lose fat as well and need to add some tone to themselves. Anyway I am off to see how many I can do of this.

@TheAikido007 working doesn't affect your height unless you doin strenous exercises that put weight on your spine. Such as heavy shoulder presses & squats. But you don't have to worry about that. It will promote growth because your young & it will release testosterone that will make u bigger, stronger, taller :)

Most athletes work at their careers from early childhood. How many of them are below average height?

@TheAikido007 To be honest mate working out isnt going to influence your height, unless you're squatting, deadlifting with a very heavy weight. I started working out when i was 14/15, but i didnt start deadlifting till i was 17, just be selective with the exercises you do. For the first 6 months or so it might be best just to stick to bodyweight routines and circuit training until you are 16.

@TheAikido007 It's not true from what I know I have about 100 pounds of muscle and I'm 6'2 and am only 16. I am not speaking only from personal outcomes I have also done some research on it. Waiting for Jeff to reply will also be helpful because he has a better understanding of how muscle affects the body than I do.

@TheAikido007 Arnold schwarzseneger had 41cm arm when he was 15 and his height now is 6'1'' ... i am 16and i am woried about that too but i am really not sure what will happen
