if you think about it, sonic and blaze are probaly suppose to be together. When the eggmans explained how the emeralds are linked and can attract or repel each other, that could also mean the same thing for sonic and blaze. The likely answer is that they are sppose to be together because the emeralds brought them together for 2 games plus the emeralds could have chosen anyone else ,but they chose sonic and blaze
