If I saw this video in better quality I would say its better than the Last one, I prefer the music arangements and it's more like the grammy winner 1993 'LIVE'.

It's going to be 13 years that Selena left us sooooo prematurely. It still saddens me to the core every 31st of March to relive her death. She will forever be my musical idol. Actually, Selena never really knew she was shot. The adreanline she had at that moment didn't allow her to feel that she was shot. She was running to get help for Yolanda, thinking she was going to shoot herself. Come on people open your minds to reality. Selena wasn't running to escape, but to look for help. The employees of the hotel said it more than once on interviews, she came to the lobby screaming "help, help, room _____" whatever the number of the room was. She never saild "help me."

I think I got a little type happy and didn't pay attention to what I wrote. I know for a majority of the movie they used her vocals from the concert from 1995 in the Astrodome.
yeah in the movie,all the live performances were from the 95 astrodome concert. but when jlo did como la flor in the white,that was from the Selena Live album. and when she did como la flor in the cow-print outfit,that was the record version of the song.

If I saw this video in better quality I would say its better than the Last one, I prefer the music arangements and it's more like the grammy winner 1993 'LIVE'.

I wasn't disrespecting Selena at all. I love these songs, it's just that this video wasn't taped very well. Please understand that I think Selena was awesome and that I was just making an observation. I wasn't saying that her singing wasn't good.

Oh my god! I was not saying anything bad about the Queen of Tejano! I was saying the QUALITY of the VIDEO was bad. Meaning that the fact it was probably taken off of an old tape was not good. I LOVE these songs and I think that Selena was the best singer ever! Especially on 'Baila esta Cumbia'. I do agree with 'thermo87' that the LIVE version was really good. Lo siento para el malentendido.

It's going to be 13 years that Selena left us sooooo prematurely. It still saddens me to the core every 31st of March to relive her death. She will forever be my musical idol. Selena had everything that a superstar needed to not only conquer the world but to also stay in that position for many, many years. Now, she's an angel. RIP, Selena.

true that! i don't think she ever made a video for any of her english songs. in total i think she only made 8 vids (la carcacha,dondequiera que estes,buenos amigos,amor prohibido,la llamada,no debes jugar,no me queda mas,bidi bidi bom bom,i think that's all.)these were all hits but no debes jugar and la llamada were not as big as como la flor and baila esta cumbia.

Actually, Selena never really knew she was shot. The adreanline she had at that moment didn't allow her to feel that she was shot. She was running to get help for Yolanda, thinking she was going to shoot herself. Come on people open your minds to reality. Selena wasn't running to escape, but to look for help. The employees of the hotel said it more than once on interviews, she came to the lobby screaming "help, help, room _____" whatever the number of the room was. She never saild "help me."

She knew she was hurt.. she was trying to get help for both herself and Yolanda. More so herself, but Yolanda as well because she knew Yolanda was a dangerous person at the moment who could have shot her a second time. They have the actual recorded audio of when Selena ran into the lobby of the Days Inn. She clearly says she was shot.

I meant to say... Como La Flor part..lol of this song was used in the concert scene of the move where she's in the white outfit...lol. I think I got a little type happy and didn't pay attention to what I wrote. I know for a majority of the movie they used her vocals from the concert from 1995 in the Astrodome.

yeah in the movie,all the live performances were from the 95 astrodome concert. but when jlo did como la flor in the white,that was from the Selena Live album. and when she did como la flor in the cow-print outfit,that was the record version of the song.

thank you so much for posting this on here. i have never have ever seen this concert. there was a lot of 9 selena vhs tapes that were sold together on ebay and had 20 bids on them and sold for $985.00 and this concert was one of the vhs in the lot.
