  • Thanks for broadcasting the NEWS. Who needs CNN!

  • mossad not muslims did 9/11/01

  • dude isnt it ironic your nickname starts with MOX? )

  • I am just curious if these dorks that pick it up in the clip bothered to measure the levels of radioactivity?

  • The video is of a regular trash clean up, the Japan stuff will arrive soon, just not yet

  • if this garbage made it to CALI im sure the radiation has made it GLOBALLY YET NOOOOOO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT

  • @pawel2003

Well, how many people are talking about the anti-cancer properties of cannabis? It seems pretty important, especially post-fukushima. It has been used as some sort of an protection against radiation. Just look up US govt patent 6,630,507 and National Cancer Institute's Health professional document if you want to know more.

  • wow snidely bitch some more people

  • @robert2562000 careful don't cross the street without a protective suit. Get your radiation detector ready when you eat food

  • holy fucking shit...

  • @AttunedFlux god damn fuckin cunt titty ass bitchin you swear too much

  • @debn1954

What does the EPA have to do with Canada? This video is from the CBC, and the people in the video are all in British Columbia.

  • @robert2562000 are you wearing a radiation suit? cause that shit's all over the world already. it travels around just a little differently than plastic bottles.

  • @wanderingirl Don't bother, he's obviously drowning in the Dunning-Kruger effect and beyond help. Only a level of pitiful ignorance and child-like intellectual development could possibly spout such stupidity without either a hint of shame or irony.

  • I would not touch that stuff.. there should be some monitoring going on there in regards to radiation.. The EPA should be right on top of this.. it is serious.. but we know it will not be so.. just disgusting what our country has become.

  • @debn1954 The EPA/FDA don't care about a thing until someone puts a rant on the news dirtying their name.

  • watch?v=tSdgiv4k3Q4

  • Has anyone checked all this crap out with a gieger counter?

  • Harper strikes again!!!

  • the shit you do comes back to you

  • I can't believe they are picking it up, and without gloves and masks. I wonder how radioactive this trash will be? Leave it to CBC not to even mention the possibility....But then they still haven't anounced the triple meltdown or china syndrome's in Japan yet. Good ole CBC,eh?

  • @firebombclipper Keep in mind the timeline and range of the tsunami - the nuclear power plant was a very small area compared to the rest of the region that was affected by the tsunami. In addition, any debris near the power plant probably made it out to sea before being affected by radiation.

  • @robert2562000 Hyperbole much? Yes it may be contaminated, yes it should be checked, but how are they doomed for cleaning their beaches? This is exactly the kind of thing government is for.

  • Great. The trash heap the size of California looks like it's aimed at none other than California.

This will inevitably start the zombie apocalypse as the homeless of LA will dig through the radioactive waste and become the first to mutate into zombies.

It's all going to start soon.

  • This is rubbish news.

  • time to move out of BC. this place was pretty cool

  • free stuff! yay

  • isn't there a country out there that can come and intervene. our dictator obama has taken complete control and the citizens are powerless! those that do step forward are considered terrorists. please help. any country will do. thank you

  • Its pretty damn clear we are getting some type of harmful radiation.

Did the leak ever get stopped?? I don't remember ever hearing that the radiation even stopped coming out of the reactors, and I KNOW there has been actions on behalf of the residence of many Japanese towns to grant them ability to leave their irradiated homes. Since to my knowledge there was restrictions in place forcing the people to remain there.

  • @NeutralExistence nope, fukishima is still in a horrible state, it will take about a YEAR to reach a cooldown on the reactors, and the water being pumped into the towers and "spent" fuel rod containers is leaking RIGHT into the ocean. Feel free to research this for validity.

  • @NeutralExistence no it hasnt stopped, it continues to even melt through the earth which caused a 7.0 earthquake today in japan. this is all FAR from over

  • Get a radiation detector, we do not know how much radiation is on these items, and we should!

  • Protective suits all

  • Stay out of the water. Seafood is NOT safe.

  • and these idiots are just touching the trash like its....popcorn or something... wth is wrong with these ppl...

  • I can't believe people are out there messing with that trash as if on a treasure hunt. All I have heard about the trash is that it is contaminated with nuclear waste.

  • the debris may not have been nuked, but what about the many tons of contaminated water dumped into the ocean? they're reporting deep sea bed contamination, but how to track those mixing currents? i guess the Pacific was the best(dilution) dump, just ironic that Japanese love seafood prone to heavy metal contamination.... they don't get much heavier than radio-active isotopes.

  • Those people should not be touching that garbage unless they are wearing a hazard waste suit. Wow,that is really not good at all. That is so scary stuff washing up....

  • Sorry but I'm not buying it. If it was the size of California, then why aren't they showing us pictures. Although I wouldn't believe those either, but still. People are to easily fooled even with computer pics they believe to be real pics. To funny. And yeah, the radiation isn't even mentioned. I call BS.

  • THEY "FORGOT" TO SAY - RADIOACTIVE DEBRIS -

  • May as well rename it, The Cancer Coast. =/

  • BEFORE YOU PICK THIS UP - this waste is TOXIC! Call the local hazardous waste people. Cleaning beaches can kill you.

  • Yep. Radioactive waste. Check the full length doc video in my profile Journey to the West which includes a couple of real soldiers trying to work against the threat of nuclear contamination back in April 2011.

  • They should transplant Californians to this floating pile of debris while they're sleeping, they wouldn't notice.

  • they forgot to mention radioactive

  • Canada should send Japan an invoice. After all, we're not the ones that created all that garbage.

  • Population control.

  • So theres gona be a Tsunami in california??? please someone reply to me , i want to know for my family can evacuate early

  • @lolurmoma It sounds like you read like every third word from the title. :)

  • @lolurmoma

I feel like you're trolling us.

    Just a feeling....

  • @lolurmoma Get out now! While you still can! Head to the mountains, that's your only chance!

  • @FirstBornSunBand *Runs*

  • In case anyone is interested, Tofino, BC (mentioned in the video) is in CANADA... not the US. I see so much negativity in these comments, adding insult to injury. Not 1 comment on how lovely it is to see people trying to make a difference. Maybe it is because you all are scared into sarcasm. Meanwhile... what ARE you doing to help the world? Even offering blessings and positive thoughts can help to write a better unfolding for the global "story". Use your Inner Power 4 good... ( : BeLOVE

  • No one should be picking up any of this trash unless they have a good geiger counter to measure radiation levels. This is likely very toxic, as is possibly the water itself. I hope the local govts will issue some guidelines or close the areas off.

  • why nothing to monitor radiation I wonder, how can they not be aware of the dangers?

  • ~• TRASH 2 U, TREASURES 2 OTHERS •~

Some Japanese people lost everything to the ocean, so stop the winning Americans*

  • @newAgentPROVOCATEUR We'll never stop winnning! Unless we lose. Then where will we be? I don't know. Oh, you meant "whining." Sorry.

  • DUH GET A SCINTILLOMETER THEN

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, I wouldn't touch ANY of this because it could be radioactive!

  • I think those people should invest in Geiger counters to scan the wreckage before touching it. The danger should be minimal but I would imagine some pieces are HOT!

  • That trash is probable not more radioactive then everything else these days, it was swept out to sea long before the radiation leaked from the power plants.

  • @spaggs111 Currents of water laden with radioactive waste, moving in the same direction as the debris field, would reach it as it would move faster than the floating debris, saturating it. Jet streams intersecting would disperse radioactive waste throughout the ocean in a matter of time - it will be recycled as water evaporates off the ocean and becomes rain clouds. This is being downplayed by media. Statistics are being skewed. Skull and Bones is what the Blue Planet will look like soon.

  • @califradmt I wasn't trying to say that we aren't basically in a nucular fallout, just that the trash probably isn't going to be all that radioactive, the fish, the food, the rain, the water, the earth, all life, yea that is going to be radioactive, the plastic bottles floating in the ocean, meh.

  • Look on the bright side... it's a job creation program in the making!

  • i wish i could build a rocket ship and leave this place behind...

  • @SkyrimRanger you and I both, think the only thing we have to look forward too is death and returning to the dirt from which we're created from. God bless.

  • Between the oil leaks/spills and the poison trash,I will never eat non-farm raised seafood again.

  • A sad reminder of a tragic event.

  • Fallout 4

  • Why worry about Iran(who have no nukes)? It's Japan that is sending millions of dirty bombs. Bye bye West Coast.

  • none of those idiots are wearing any sort of protective clothing. what idiots

  • Americans with any sense will not go near the stuff. It's RADIOACTIVE.

  • Glowing souvenirs. Nothing's too good for Cali.

  • I <3 HAARP

  • Japan must pay to clean this up

  • That mass isn't garbage, it's GODZILLA 2012 !

  • thanks Fucushima!

  • Would it not be radioactive? Why are they not wearing gloves and protective clothing?

  • Radioactive? Maybe we should bomb it.

  • i'll bet money that tourists and beach-goers cause WAY more garbage per year than all the stuff that will end up on-shore in the next coming years all put together.

look, ma, another "new story"! whatever... how about telling us more about those homeless christmas trees going to zoo animals and other hard-hitting BS

  • If you have Iodine... now's the time to take it.

  • Yeah, but none of the RADIATION will ever reach the coast... nuh-uh!

    Just some harmless trash.

  • Sweet, free japanese stuff!

  • So, do people realize that the water and all of the trash their picking up is probably full of radiation!?

  • @xthisangelfell79x OF COURSE NOT! BECAUSE CNN AND ALL THE OTHER TAX-PAID-FOR PROPAGANDA OUTLETS HAVE SAID "IT IS ALL PERFECTLY SAFE"- SO IT MUST BE THE TRUTH AND ANYBODY WHO SAYS DIFFERENT IS A TERRORIST AND ANTI-PATRIOTIC! IT'S TOO LATE FOR YOU SO-CALLED AMERICANS!!! GOOD RIDDANCE! GREETINGS FROM SWISS KNIGHTS LOST IN ROME...NON NOBIS DOMINE...

  • @steelalive2011 Dude- shut off Fox News, Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh and think for yourself.

  • @serenegeek Dude- I'm pretty sure he wasn't being serious.

  • @steelalive2011 ouch caps my eyes are bleeding... although I guess your say is more important than a regular individual that pays the courtesy of not capping everything so we should all just STFU and listen to people that are so insightful, such individual genius, in ability to conceptualise: "if I caps lock my comment it will get more attention, and i deserve it"

  • @xthisangelfell79x Do people realize that the water and all of the the trash they're picking up is DEFINITELY full of radiation?!

  • @xthisangelfell79x This trash was already heading out to sea when the radiation started to leak so probably might be too strong a word but you raise a good point that we all live in the same world.

Industry and the military have been polluting the world with extra radiation for over sixty years and since some amount of radiation will last a very long time you will find above normal radiation in just about anything you measure now vs. sixty years ago. Its not safe and its has and does kill.

  • @xthisangelfell79x

This is stuff from the initial wave- I doubt there is any radiation at all from any of it. The radiation leaks happened after the wave came in and took all that stuff into the ocean.

  • @serenegeek Indeed... But I guess people keep forgetting that this is from when the tsunami hit, while the reactors got problems from the tsunami. In their mind it's just something that occured all at once.... >.>

  • @xthisangelfell79x dude...thats exactly what i just thought.... like wth is wrong with these ppl...

  • @xthisangelfell79x

not true fella der guy on der tv said we should stop eatin banananas cos day have more plutomium in dem dan japan

so i stopped eatin dat african fruit.

i bee goin dare soon lookin for tresure dem margerine tubs sure looks handy for storin buletts

if plutomium is bad why do day gives us exrays and nucleer power factories

  • its probably not... most of that is debris from the earthquake before the reactors when on the fritz. not to say we shouldn't monitor it. I just don't think this will be a huge radiation problem. just a clean up crew can take care of it hopefully.

  • I will be swimming in this in 2 days.

    Wish me luck.

  • i see lots of trash bags and trail mix in their future.

oh yah, lots of radioactive garbage too.

  • everything is plastic life is fantastic.

  • How come Tepco isn't providing clean up efforts?

  • the cannabis extract is what ppl mean to say when they say "weed cures cancer" & has a much higher rate of reducing cancer [than smoking] aswell.

  • Thanks For Sharing

  • Top comment was typed by a 14 year old autistic kid.

  • Merry Christmas California! hope you enjoy your radioactive trash pit.

  • not to worry....the government is right on top of this situation

  • Holy shit. I never thought about this. It didn't even occur to me to think how much shit would make it to the currents. I wonder how much of it is radioactive?

  • Plenty of jobs to be had cleaning that shit up

  • @scottishbadboytracks If its not radioactive.

  • @bamboo4tameshigiri yeah thats true

  • Isn't all of that trash radioactive?

  • @slhines7

i doubt it, it would of been taken straight out to sea with the tsunami waters, the reactors went into melt down after all attempts to stabilize them failed.

i'm not sure though, i could easilly be wrong.

  • @ChuckMamuck Yeah, I guess so as well. However, isn't the entire ocean pretty much more tainted than ever and not only with just radiation, but mercury, oil, corexit, etc.? Who knows but it certainly doesn't look like things are better due to this.

  • How about dont touch anything that washes up. Wasn't there a nuclear disaster there as well? How do they know that debris is not loaded with radiation. I guess when their hair starts to fall out we will know.

  • peace & love

  • free stuff yay!

  • Holy shit!! California is just waiting to get destroyed

  • Comment removed

  • Be GREEN! This message brought to you by GE.

  • yall better buy a Geiger counter.

    just saying.

  • how we have destroyed the earth.

giant radioactive garbage pile in the pacific.millions of gallons of oil leaked in the atlantic.genetically engineered crops that "naturally" grow poison.the food will fkn kill you,i hope ppl understand most of these manafactured big names sell poison in the foods on purpose to soft kill, destroy the immune system & cause cancer.weed will reduce chance at cancer 72% [habitual smokers] so you can get the munchies enough to stomach the poison your forcefed.

  • @iWASbeingModest "we" have not destroyed the earth my friend, the globalists have and have successfully pulled the wool over eyes for a long time for the majority, but the people are awaking.

  • @iWASbeingModest YES.GOTTA BE CAREFUL THOUGH.I SMOKED POISON WEED 10 YEARS BACK.WAS NEVER THE SAME.LEGALIZE

  • @iWASbeingModest that was a fkn awesome comment

  • @trotwoodtrouble thanks.addtionally i would add that many ppl see the "pothead" comments & write it off.you dont have to smoke it,you can get the cannabis extract [or make it] and/or ingest it.this needs to be common knowledge for west coast residents especially.

  • @iWASbeingModest

    wow, you're an idiot

  • @pennjersey83 these are all facts.research it,if you didnt know this, you are the idiot.alot of lives can be saved from the concentrated form of the plant.look it up on YT even, lazy bastard.

  • @iWASbeingModest

    yea sure

  • @pennjersey83 lmao.you know what else is great about being stoned?...you otherwise annoying swine are just hilarious.disbelief.ignorance.perfect establishment tool.

  • @iWASbeingModest Don't worry the nukes are going to fly soon, I figure I got about 500 good shits left before my ass gets nuked, I'm going to enjoy everyone of them. Only thing that can stop it is to impeach that puppet Obama and get Ron Paul in.

  • @iWASbeingModest Smoking weed causes Cancer.

  • ...AND it repairs and protects braincells and all other cells too.

    watch?v=IzJVT38pgFE

    Have a nice day.

  • No Geiger tellers to check radiation? Very responsible.

  • @joggler66 thats what i was just about to say, wheres our loving gov?

  • @mistermassive1 so which corporation was responsible for the earthquake and tsunami?

  • @wafflethug General Electric mostly!

  • @wafflethug There was a corporation responsible for building 6 nuclear reactors in an area heavily prone to earthquake and tsunami. Tokyo Electric Power Company. If airplanes failed at the same rate as old nuclear reactors, 1%, nobody would be flying.

  • @YouSayYouWantA ya, this video is about garbage from the tsunami. A tsunami that hit the whole eastern coast of Japan.

  • Would it be contaminated?

  • @jloppy Yupper and the seals are already showing blisters and hair loss with blindness. ALL SYMPTOMS OF RADIATION POISONING.

Be sure to eat lots of Alaskan King Crab and Salmon, then get some Gulf Oil Shrimp and Oysters. ANYONE ELSE find it funny our largest areas for gathering food are not TOXIC? Looks like we will be forced to buy ONLY FARM RAISED MONSANTO MONSTER FOOD. Poisoning the world for $.

  • @skb0rzn and dont forget about Plastic Garbage Island. Located in the Pacific, the size of Texas and growing!!!

  • @jloppy Now radioactive for the enjoyment of 1000 generations.

  • @skb0rzn Glowing fish sticks will be all the rage...

  • @mistermassive1 well said.

  • Sell the trash on eBay
